24/2/2023 10:10 | Yes i know that but it was so unusual seeing JOG showin 100%I am going to be buying a chunk of shares at these prices | catchingmice
24/2/2023 06:32 | Thanks for that, I have just had a look at the relevant piece. I note that they also say that the market is in highly oversold territory, and one should beware of a trend reversal, so it is not all doom and gloom ! | mesquida
23/2/2023 22:29 | www.barchart.comThe sell signal is 100% It is however an Overall Opinion trend based on 13 Indicators | catchingmice
23/2/2023 19:51 | Catchingmice, excuse my ignorance but can you please explain your comment. | mesquida
23/2/2023 17:01 | WOWI have never ever seen a 100% sell on JOG before on Barchart | catchingmice
23/2/2023 15:50 | Fund raise due? | daler1966
23/2/2023 14:39 | This has lost half of it's value since the High of last October | catchingmice
21/2/2023 10:43 | Investors should carefully consider the caviat that accompanied the November RNS. It is standard wording but gives the company ample room to " get out of Jail" "Forward Looking Statements This announcement contains certain forward-looking statements that are subject to the usual risk factors and uncertainties associated with the oil and gas business. Whilst the Company believes the expectations reflected herein to be reasonable in light of the information available to it at this time, the actual outcome may be materially different owing to factors beyond the Company's control or otherwise within the Company's control but where, for example, the Company decides on a change of plan or strategy." | kakapo1

20/2/2023 10:05 | 664 A bleak view , we are where we are because of Gov C02 policy / taxes and the global warming con , I think that bubble has to burst , can JOG see it through till then ? | nestoframpers
18/2/2023 13:23 | The proof of the pudding...JOG has been trying to farm down for years before this latest threat. And no takers. I suppose a player with funding could come in and say "Give us 45% for nowt and we'll fund that. You keep control with 55% and you only need to raise £550mill in debt and equity". But even then...which bank is gonna advance em say £350mill? And is the market gonna swallow the remaining £200mill in equity? The probability of JOG getting this dog over the line is 10% at best. IMO. DYOR. | hsfinch
30/1/2023 11:57 | Not so sure as we are only up 6% just a correction in my view after some selling | catchingmice
30/1/2023 11:37 | Is word leaking out? We may be very close to an agreement!! | chessman2
27/1/2023 16:10 | Hope so but chart looks horrible and set for a drop further. | squiresquire
27/1/2023 15:42 | From the other board Didas Price: 197.50 No Opinion Re: AquisToday 14:19 Well, I did not expect a drop below 200 in January 2023! With a substantial stake that I have built up over seven years, it is disheartening, to say the least, to see the value ebbing away, despite the December RNS. I continue to hold and cling to the thought that a drop might just mean imminent news! I am sure many of you feel the same frustration and like me, set your alarms for 0700 hoping for the greatest reward imaginable! Who knows, we might be caught out with a 1700 RNS! Whenever it is, let's hope it will be a big reward for our patience and I will be pleased for the management too, whom I believe have been working very hard to achieve an excellent outcome. | ashkv
27/1/2023 15:05 | Certainly in Q1 2023 - BOOM!!! Tue, 29th Nov 2022 07:00 RNS Number : 8508H Jersey Oil and Gas PLC 29 November 2022 Jersey Oil and Gas plc ("Jersey Oil & Gas" or the "Company") Licence Extension Jersey Oil & Gas (AIM: JOG), an independent upstream oil and gas company focused on the UK Continental Shelf region of the North Sea, is pleased to announce that the North Sea Transition Authority ("NSTA") has approved an extension to the Second Term of its P2170 "Verbier" Licence. This licence is now aligned with JOG's P2498 "Buchan" Licence with the current phase expiring end of August 2023, in keeping with the Company's stated strategy of developing the Greater Buchan Area ("GBA") as an area-wide development plan. Following a recent period of fiscal uncertainty, confirmation of the retention of the investment allowance as part of the recent amendments to the UK's Energy Profits Levy is welcome, as we progress advanced commercial discussions with a select number of counterparties in relation to the Company's GBA farm out process. Andrew Benitz, CEO of Jersey Oil & Gas, commented: "We are pleased that the NSTA has agreed to extend the Second Term of the Verbier Licence in order to align it with the rest of our GBA asset base. Although multiple fiscal changes have slowed progress with closing out commercial farm-out discussions, we look forward to a successful conclusion if not by the end of the year then certainly in Q1 2023." | ashkv
27/1/2023 15:01 | RNS could drop tomorrow - December update mentioned possibly by year end and certainly by Q1 end - half way there in the indicated timeline worst case... probability of positive news increases with each passing day.... Election will not happen until early 2025 when legally due... Tories and going to stretch it unless a Starmer / Labour implosion in the polls occurs... LOAD UP!!! 6 month low prices... | ashkv
27/1/2023 09:13 | JOG's got about 6 months to get the farm down done. After that no company will invest with Labour promising to stop oil and gas developments and an election looming. I cannot see it happening. Sorry but JOG is on a downward slope to nowhere. | hsfinch
26/1/2023 09:17 | Ah, this is one of those rare occasions when the rats return as the ship sink! Or in this case, as the share price falls. Rbonnier as you are most likely all the chaps you mention (you have admitted to having multiple aliases) I suggest we just read your post. Nothing to see here. Either deal gets done and value is created at a multiple of where the share price is or there is no deal and the share price slips to 50p and becomes option money. I'm long and think deal gets done but there's nothing like a falling share price to put doubt where there was none! | redrag1
26/1/2023 08:44 | JOG has to find partners before next years election coz Sir Kweer would block the development. But who's gonna farm in with that political risk and oil back to $80 in spite of war with Russia. Get real...chances of this project going ahead are slim to none. | hsfinch
24/1/2023 17:29 | Justsomeguy, I've been seeing these two as heading along the same path for some time. I'm invested in both - hedging my bets....... | albo
24/1/2023 17:02 | Just a matter of waiting a few weeks IMO until the big deal is announced. The assets here are tremendous and worth big bucks to the new company. Read the last RNS to be updated! | chessman2
24/1/2023 16:58 | I would strongly advise going back on this thread 12 - 18 months and read all the posts by JTSouthern Bones698 and Kakapo1 before it's too late .These folk know what they're talking about in particular jtsouthern146 who had analytical knowledge of the GBA and draw your own conclusions. | rbonnier
24/1/2023 16:17 | I'm out of the picture. Why the significant drop recently? | js910 |
