Biden keeps emptying the SPR to keep prices down so as to try to protect the Democrats from wipe out at the November mid term elections.....but he has to stop empying that SPR soon.....and then all hell will break loose with oil demand exceeding supply as 2022 ends and 2023 begins as whats left of OPEC spare capacity is eaten up.......

Oh looks like 207 might be visited after all . If Scotland gets independence ( which I doubt ) I wonder what effect that would have on JOG?

ammons, ultimately JOG is now a very attractive way to use your Windfall tax. Getting a 91p in the pound rebate and getting a real asset for that money........

Pro, I am surprised that you are a buyer of any producer that comes under UK tax regime given the behaviour of Sunak with his daft windall tax and others before him such as Osbourne and his stabiliser from years back. How so? Why JOG and not, say, SQZ?

And Europe is into Gas panic mode......which means oil and coal will be used more as gas is used less to build stocks.




Saudi Arabian excess capacity will be gone in a few months and then where do they get this new 1m barrels of oil per day growth from ??? The demand more than supply crunch is only a few months away now........oil prices are going north, no matter how much they try to talk them down. Reality will out in the end.

Fell slightly below my 2.33 yesterday but Buyers coming back in...picking up cheap stockSo we should now see a continued trend above the 2.52 region
