These zero hour contracts make me laugh ?Companies such as tesco and primark won't even allow full-time work ?Propped up by govt tax credits? That's why so many are on benefits ?FACTIt's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you

Where will the extra 10% NLW money be spent?
JDW are a good employer so I am not worried about zero hour contracts.
JDW have the lowest prices and the greatest wiggle room to raise prices to cover NLW costs.

gwatson56. JDW has just hit my buying price target but others hit theirs first and I am out of spare cash to invest.

If you do the maths it's priced about right. Living wage 10% and labour coming into power with manifesto actions on zero hours contracts. All to be revealed tomorrow in their manifesto I'd wait to buy.

Closed at sub 200 day moving average. For me it’s a signal to buy more. This will ping north anytime soon imo. If wrong then summit is up and the drift will continue. I am in for many more sub 740 with that being my new limit. Catch a falling knife, perhaps. I am betting not…. Time will tell.

Not a fan of them being forced to but I do think a zero alcohol on tap would do well in his pubs, it's a growing market and not much of the competition have it on tap also many people eat there in the day when at work etc and do not want alcohol. The latest zero beers actually taste really good have come on massively from the early days.

Pubs 'could axe punters' favourite draught beers for 0% pints' under 'nanny state' plans to make each boozer offer at least one low or no-alcohol brew on tap

He’s such an oaf .
It’s cringeworthy the way he sometimes tries to “ fit in “ when the reality is that the dufus inside him is bursting to pop out .

Gozza , off you pop .
No one is interested in comments you make other than to mock you fella .

I keep seeing these small irish bars popping up ,but its definitely a mixed bag in hospitality .I've never understood why the next person believes they can make it pay, when the numerous ones before them couldn't?They should be thriving, but they're struggling. What does that say about us? hTTps://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/food-drink-news/should-thriving-instead-theyre-struggling-29309997#ICID=Android_MENNewsApp_AppShare

From the link in #676

THE boss of Wetherspoons has spilled the secrets on why its drinks are so cheap as the chain gears up for 50 giant “Super Spoons”.

I wonder where these will be located and if that's yet been planned. An interesting development.

Started topping up just now, I suspect it might find support at the the 200 day moving average. Once the share price rises above 760 that's me done.

Wetherspoons boss reveals real reason its beer is so cheap compared to other pubs

Sir Tim Martin revealed part of the reason for the low prices was the sheer quantities of alcohol his pub chain buys.

"The company expects profits in the current financial year to be towards the top of market expectations."

Another nonsense story .
More attention seeking .
He cannot simply make a point .
Always has to add some kind of quip or false experience .
