MARCH ON WESTMINSTER: Farage to lead HUGE Brexit protest march from Sunderland to London

A FORTNIGHT-LONG demonstration in protest at the “betrayal” of the Brexit vote is to begin next month as Brexiteers urge Leave supporters to “stand up for what we believe in”.

May's remainer withdrawal deal with its red herring backstop is a stinker because it:

*Budget: Writes off the majority of the UK’s share of EU assets while locking us into those assets that carry a high liability of future payments.

*Pensions: Makes the UK share of EU pension liabilities unfair.

*Contributions: Locks us in a Long term liability of EU financial contributions & increases during transition period and any extensions.

*ECHR: Keeps the UK locked in the restrictive ECHR helping criminals remain in UK above the rights of security of the British public.

*CJEU: The Court of Justice of the European Union retains jurisdiction over the UK during the transition period with any further extensions and in areas of law for some years after we leave.

*EU Caselaw: Contains damaging restrictions giving due regard to EU Caselaw making it impossible to gain an independent Judicary and Immigration policy or return our Sovereignty.

*Fishing Rights: The withdrawal agreement alludes to future "shared" British fish stocks.

*EU Military Projects: It locks us into the collaboration of future military projects of the European Defence Agency/European Defence Fund supported projects.

Stitch up coming. Who are they kidding? Of course there's going to be a 'EU deal'. It will be trumpeted as THE greatest deal of all time. It will be nothing of the sort. It will be the most deceitful thing any government has done to it's own people in modern times, without a shadow of a doubt.

Tend to bet on JDW, Winter & close early Summer. Not always correct but passed two years, spot on. Cyclic investment, as not sure of total business.

"An article here in the New Zealand Farmers weekly, the EU is halving the previous imports of meat from NZ from 228,000 tonnes to 114,000 tonnes, saying that the UK will take the other 114,000 tonnes of mostly lamb. At the same time the EU is slapping a 50% import duty on UK lamb when the UK leaves. Funny how this sort of information doesn't make it into the news media"

Is that 50% lamb import tariff legal under WTO in the first instance?

The EU has already said that they won't reopen negotiations, or remove the backstop. May has wasted over two years flogging a dead horse when the government should have negotiated with 'no deal' being the starting point..The people are not getting what they voted for in 2016. Anything other than a full Brexit is a betrayal of democracy and the role who voted. We should not pay the EU a penny...Watching the demise of the Conservative Party.

I never thought these drive in Wetherspoons pubs were a good idea. They need to make the doors a lot wider. Wonder if it was a Remainer or maybe Prince Philip popping in for a pint?

Davos 2019 LIVE:

Germany 'ABSOLUTELY dependent' on UK as Merkel reveals BREXIT THREAT

Jose Angel Gurria, secretary general of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), has declared Britain will see other nations “roll with” Brexit even in the event of a no-deal.

He hinted a hard Brexit would not spell direct economic disaster for the international community as he suggested the OECD will “take our bumps” that come from a no-deal scenario.

Suggesting Britain would revert to World Trade Organisation (WTO) rule, Mr Gurria told Sky News “the whole world” runs on WTO checks.

Wetherspoon pubs cull EVERY European wine and third of beers as Brexit looms

Boss of the chain - Tim Martin - is an ardent Brexiteer and promised to stock more beverages from the UK and countries outside the EU before Britain officially leaves Europe in March.

Tim Martin said “Many of our tax rates for pubs and brewers are actually set at a European level, so we hope the Government will use Britain’s departure from the EU as an opportunity to review that system".
