I had a look here, but due to the ongoing issue, I can't see who would place money with them. It seems to affect 'model b' but I don't whether there will be anything negative imposed by the fca???

With the Budget due on Wednesday, In a brexit Britain I wonder is the chancellor will relax the MiFID 2 rules ?.
Who can forget Andrew Grants rant against the time / cost of following the new rules in the 2017 results. Rules that were put in place to stop among other things fraud and tax evasion. Ironic under Jarvis's current predicament. His rant on the money / time implementing the new rules crashed the share price at the time. And yet Mr Grant has been silent on the money / time and distruction of wealth his Company's mistakes have cost us, the share holders since the FCA ordered an investigation of Jarvis in September 2022.

More 'Heads' must role.

So why not tag the information Jarvis have about the ongoing
investigation and 1C form on the dividend RNS ?. Keeps us in the loop or we're they just not going to release the results and see if anyone noticed ?.

The report has been scheduled for delivery to the FCA by the 28 Feb but I haven't seen any mention of when they will report back on their findings. I'm guessing we can rule out 7 March and that's why the Final announcement might be delayed so that the two can be combined.

I'm too old for social media but sometimes conspiracy theories are correct. The other week I saw a advert saying Elvis was playing at a local Miner's working men's club.

Answer that ......

As steelwatch quotes, they were published on the official jarvis web page and now removed. Why go to the trouble ? time and money to remove ? Mmmmmmm !.

The Phase 1C report is due to be delivered to the FCA, by no later than 28 February 2024. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
Next Final Announcement 07 March 2024
Next AGM 18 April 2024

Wondering if the Phase 1C report is facing further delay, hence can't stick to schedule?

There's no longer a requirement for listed companies to provide advanced notification of the date of publication of financial results.

If you look at the page more closely the next AGM is set for the 18th April 2024. The financial results have to be published well before then.

Seems you have an unhealthy obsession looking for issues where none actually exists. Social media doesn't need yet more conspiracy theories. More than enough as it is.

There's the issue of company law when it come to thresholds of share ownership in a publicly limited company.

Next AGM should be interesting. Looking forward to the questions from the floor. Though keyboard warriors , in my personal experience , remain silent in open meetings. For fear of looking foolish.

Thanks steelwatch,
Two months closed period to the board buying shares, is not the same as from when the FCA investigation started in September 2022.

It's on the road to a recovery and a clean bill of health, an expensive Bill !. My hope is a bigger player will take a look at Jarvis and offer the Grant family a deal they can't refuse.

If this was / is so ! couldn't Jarvis add a this restriction note to an RNS ?. I can't see the FCA having a restricted on a company highlighting a restriction. I don't have much money but there may be people with deep pockets who would have bought with that information Mmmmmm !.

Let's hope the 1C form has been handed over and this disaster can come to a end.

Other than a few c£300 buys around the 50-60p level I have been waiting for the directors to show some confidence and buy JIM - still waiting!

Well to be fair this one has been like trying to catch a falling knife until yesterday, well done anyone who did so but I'm just hoping that the upwards trajectory continues as I'm licking my wounds on this stock.

Me moaning I would guess , Jody.

I'm cool with that, the points i make are true.

Jarvis could easily have tagged a few lines on yesterday's RNS - the 1C form has been handed in - then we know.

Good to have a dividend all the same.
