05/11/2023 17:40 | The Board of Jarvis provides a further update to the announcement on 31 March 2023 on the Skilled Person review as announced in its update on 16 September 2022. The Skilled Person reviewed the systems and controls of the Company's subsidiary, Jarvis Investment Management Limited ("JIML"), pursuant to s166 Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 ("FSMA") ("Skilled Person"). The Skilled Person conducted the review and testing, as part of the second stage of its work originally agreed with the FCA. The Skilled Persons has completed its review of JIML's system and controls and provided its report, including its recommendations, to JIML and the FCA on 24 May 2023. As a result, JIML has adopted a remediation plan which it expects to have substantially completed over the next two to three months. The Company expects the Skilled Person will review and report on the remedial steps implemented by JIML in Q4 2023. The voluntarily agreed restrictions, as set out in a previous update, remain in place. JIML will continue to work with the Skilled Person and FCA with the aim of having the restrictions lifted on its impacted Model B clients as soon as possible. The Board will provide a further update in due course.' --++++ I believe your a scaremonger Ex_jim If there had been anything to put the company at risk, the FCA would NOT have allowed Jarvis to pay the 3rd quarter dividend. We await any fine ! With £5 million in the bank as of the last results I would think any fine will be covered. But If you did work for Jarvis ! and left in October and we're part of the management rather than the cleaner. You should take your own responsibility for any poor work rather than joining Advfn Today and post negative vagarys IMHO Also, The sacked FD Jolyon f#cked up and put Jarvis where it is today. There is No one else to blame but the man himself. | tenapen
05/11/2023 17:25 | I left in the first week of October. Let me clarify. Andrew has taken his eye of the ball and he is not the type of person who likes to be told what do to. He now has little option but to look for a buyer. (This my own view) You mention a small part, breaching compliance regulations is a huge wrong doing. Yes you are right Jolyon was a well liked in the organisation. He cannot be held accountable for the issues alone. | ex_jim:employee
05/11/2023 17:00 | Okay When did you leave Jarvis ? How do you know the Grants want to sell. You spoke with a agency worker but think he may have left !. What makes you think Jarvis is under threat when the wrongdoing was just with a small !!! Part of the Jarvis offering ? Thanks | tenapen
05/11/2023 16:42 | Tenapen, I’d rather you asked specific questions than try and ascertain who I am or position I held. I will answer as best I can. Steelwatch, in answer to your question a sale would be the best option. FCA fine and ongoing investigation cost will put the bottom line under severe strain. Especially now with the core Model B’s being off boarded. It’s a real shame as Jarvis can be a very good niche outfit if the right hiring of management was made. | ex_jim:employee
05/11/2023 15:44 | Hi Ex_Jim:Employee, "Richy spoke about Jolyon Head. He was pushed. I left on my own accord. I cannot see Jarvis surviving much longer after Christmas. Albeit the board will not divulge that information to the staff." Is that because you think Jarvis will go bust or that it will be forced to sell itself to a larger company with better risk management? Thank you! JakNife | jaknife
05/11/2023 15:31 | While I wait for your reply even though you have told richy your not going to give your name !. Your posts are just vague hearsay. Grant want to sell up - who told you this ? "There was a temp. My conversation with him had, showed he had an awful lot of knowledge but assume he has lef"t. - so when did you leave ? davea422 Nov '23 - 08:22 - 3197 of 3216 0 3 0 JIM: Compliance Monitoring Analyst vacancy... The job was being advertised on the 2nd November - has it been filled and if you have left already ....... where does your opinion come from ?. | tenapen
05/11/2023 14:59 | He had to be pushed !!!! After f#cking Up so badly he wanted to stay in his place. So who are you, what s your name Ex_jim You have big opinions about Jarvis and it's future. If your EX management then we can listen. If you answered the phone or cleaned the toilet... not so | tenapen
05/11/2023 14:40 | Bust, or taken out by a competitor? | steelwatch
05/11/2023 14:27 | Richy spoke about Jolyon Head. He was pushed. I left on my own accord. I cannot see Jarvis surviving much longer after Christmas. Albeit the board will not divulge that information to the staff. | ex_jim:employee
05/11/2023 13:46 | Out of curiosity, did you jump, or were you pushed? | steelwatch
05/11/2023 13:23 | I fully appreciate your comments. The lawyer DWF are doing their upmost to advise Jarvis. The fear is it is falling on further resistance. The comments about compliance is ridiculous. The company has now got a Compliance manager with two members of staff. Hardly robust and fills with confidence. There was a temp. My conversation with him had, showed he had an awful lot of knowledge but assume he has left. | ex_jim:employee
05/11/2023 12:59 | Thanks, I post what's on my mind right or wrong, having someone tracking me is off-putting. Just to add .... if you are an ex_JIM: Employee! I stopped using Jarvis as the phone staff were the most obnoxious people imho. With attitudes like they had I wouldn't be surprised if Jarvis was loosing market share ! and no wonder the staff turnover is high !. My hope is the Americans T/O and lay the law down to management and staff. Buck up or get Out | tenapen
05/11/2023 12:34 | I apologies Tenapen. I followed your comments for months now. I was not in a position to make comment. I can now. I have unfollowed you. Richy that is private and confidential | ex_jim:employee
05/11/2023 12:04 | Are you Jolyon Head? | richyst
05/11/2023 12:01 | So you joined advfn on the 5th November to share your opinion. I object to you following Me | tenapen
05/11/2023 10:15 | One would assume that the share price will continue to fall. The current state of affairs is that FCA have to approve almost everything. Andrew Grant is now a figure head due to holding majority shareholding. The company continue to employ persons with little financial acumen or experience. This is because they do not want to pay a wage for experience. I lost faith in the ability of this company. Turn-over of staff is horrendous between 2-3 a week. One can only say this is continuing. Continued breaches and mistakes will continue to be made. Beware that the FCA will be coming down hard on Jarvis and Andrew Grant is looking for an exit. | ex_jim:employee
03/11/2023 23:34 | @davea42 As per the half yearly report for the period ended 30th June 2023 Quote "Most importantly, we continue to operate our services as normal to retail clients via ShareDeal Active and X-O platforms. However, in the background we are making significant changes to our processes and controls as recommended in our skilled person review. We have increased the resources in our compliance department to undertake this work, and we anticipate that even when the review is satisfied, we will continue with increased compliance resource within the firm." | thrugelmir

03/11/2023 16:48 | With the share price falling / crashing c10% I would love to be a fly on the wall while the Grant family have tea tonight. Sell up Grants, you've taken your eye off the company and employed incompetents ...... or.... you let good people become incompetent because they also took their eyes off the company. | tenapen
03/11/2023 16:43 | The CFO resigning with immediate effect is not typically a good sign. -++++ I am surprised he hung on for the 13 months since his mistakes came to light. Him being sleeping at the wheel has caused this Car Crash. Hopeless management - More heads must Roll to bring some sort of confidence for the markets. | tenapen
03/11/2023 16:10 | Some possible concerns: * 10 August trading update: "the Company is now trading below current market expectations." Will the stock market adage of warnings coming in threes apply? * Net cash at the end of July 2023 was £5.2m. Is there a risk of a fine following the Skilled Persons review? If so how severe might this be? * Is the dividend under threat? * The CFO resigning with immediate effect is not typically a good sign. * Is Jarvis losing market share to its competitors? | saucepan
03/11/2023 11:58 | Yes, very ugly share price action here. What do those with more information than the typical private investor know or fear, I wonder? | saucepan
