12/6/2023 13:49 | And down again today... | cwa1
08/6/2023 17:19 | Outcome ultimately will be that the business will be in a better place for the future. This issue extends outside of JIM to a much wider clamp down you'd suspect. | thrugelmir
08/6/2023 15:20 | As I've mentioned before, I think they had to tighten up on money laundering routines. They must have been vulnerable | 1hroy
08/6/2023 14:33 | Has anyone got a firm opinion on what would be a "good" outcome from the review or, conversely, what would represent a "bad" outcome? Thanks for any thoughts | cwa1
08/6/2023 13:43 | That seems a slightly alarmimg fall on no news that I can see yet. Just a bit of selling or something in the offing? | cwa1
30/5/2023 09:55 | With Bank Rate now projected to exceed 5% - this will underpin the Brokers' dividend forecast of 12p. So, great opportunity for income seekers to lock-in a prospective 7.7% yield at current c. 155p share price and with dividends paid quarterly in relatively equal chunks; which is a rare and very attractive feature that tends to get overlooked. Just need to get past this FCA review to remove the risk and the investment case should look compelling. | maddox
27/5/2023 14:19 | With consolidation in the sector. Makes you wonder how much longer they'll remain independent. | thrugelmir
26/5/2023 13:36 | It looks like interest rates are going up further. Makes it much easier for JIM - a great hedge against interest rates going up at this price. | evaluate
11/5/2023 22:03 | FSA will have sanctioned the dividend declaration. | thrugelmir
11/5/2023 17:27 | Very positive sign - we're on course to hit the Analysts' consensus of 12p and a yield of 7.74% on today's 155p close. | maddox
11/5/2023 14:40 | Solid sign that the management at JIM are happy that things are improving. I don't think they would have raised the dividend if the ongoing review was likely to come up with any serious bad news. | evaluate
11/5/2023 14:34 | Maybe that's just 'payback' for the one 2.5p dividend. Still, it's a very decent yield at the current price. | nk104
11/5/2023 14:08 | Solid, small increase... 11 May 2023 Jarvis Securities plc ("Jarvis" or "the Company") DIVIDEND DECLARATION The Board of Jarvis announces that it is declaring a second quarterly interim dividend of 3.5 pence per share, to be paid on 13 June 2023 to shareholders on the register on 19 May 2023 and the shares will become ex-dividend on 18 May 2023. 02/5/2023 21:47 | I'll let you know that when we see what the resolution is! | cwa1
02/5/2023 21:43 | How is the resolution going to influence your decision to buy or sell the stock though? | thrugelmir
02/5/2023 21:23 | Yes, I know, I need to be more patient. However when you're told back in September it'll take 3-6 months it's hard not to get a touch frustrated when another month passes without a resolution... | cwa1
02/5/2023 20:19 | Well we were told at the end of March "Within the next 3 months" so at a guess somewhere between tomorrow and the end of June. Concentrate on some thing else I suppose, watched kettle etc. | melton john
02/5/2023 16:00 | I wonder just how long we're going to have to wait for the appearance of this skilled person's report? | cwa1
04/4/2023 12:45 | Hopefully you'll never return. Though I'd say to stick to bricks. As finance nor business appears to be your forte. | thrugelmir
03/4/2023 17:59 | Well the famous saying, buy low sell high, not the other way round. They are at their lowest. | 1hroy
03/4/2023 10:14 | I'm unsure why some people post on share bulletin boards. As nothing of value is added. Opinions drive markets. If I fall out of love with a share. I sell it and move on. No need for hysterics. To be a good investor one needs emotional detachment. Always very obvious to me who isn't cut out for the brutal world of business finance. | thrugelmir
03/4/2023 09:16 | Everyone is entitled to an opinion tenapen but that's post is a bit strong in my view. Describing JIM as rotten to any degree, without any evidence as to what is going on regarding their relationship with I hope a very small part of their model b business, is too much. I've always been happy with their service and never had any doubts in trusting them and I'm really sorry that after nearly 20 years or so since you were following them on OFEX as tenapenny, you have become bitter. Sorry to see you go, PM me if you want to discuss further. | melton john |
