The only crumb of comfort for me is the rule that any price sensitive information has to be announced in a timely manner and can't be held back. So like my house value has dropped but I wasn't thinking of selling, it's annoying but I'll live with it. JIM have done me well in the twenty years that I've held them and I still trust that things will work out.

I have to say, regrettably, that I agree with spann.

Yes, things take longer than we'd like and expect-but at least explain that to the owners of the company in a clear and timely fashion-especially when you've made a commitment to a timescale. Instead of which we have...absolutely nothing, which concerns and irks me in equal measure

That is a fair point topvest, however an equally fair point is that the company has failed to update the market within the time period in which they said they would do so. In my opinion that unfortunately raises questions about the trustworthiness of management.

To be fair, Regulators only have one speed..super slow!

Maybe an update early next week?

So...urmm...nothing? Not even a "sorry chaps but it's taking a bit longer than we expected and please bear with us for a bit longer" type comment? As a stakeholder in the company I do feel a bit let down by this complete lack of communication. Just me?

Looks like we are heading for another Friday PM RNS, or management will not keep their word in terms of updating the market "within the next three months".

If it's the latter, then I would find that particularly disappointing.

Well, they're certainly cutting it fine! Not even an announcement that it has been further delayed-yet!

Any material financial impact of the investigation, if there is any, would have been allowed for in the preparation of the 2022 annual accounts. The almost immediate appointment, from within, to Director level. Would have addressed any concerns as to how the company itself viewed the situation. The administration side of the affair is one of those how long is piece of string. We'll never know what went on.

In your opinion, not mine. My view is that the outcome of a regulatory investigation is of far greater consequence to the company than another increase in the Bank Rate.

7 working days. Not what I'd call "plenty", either.

Plenty of working days left yet. What action the BOE decides to take is far more interesting from an investment perspective currently.

I'm expecting an update on the "skilled" person by the end of next week as referenced in the RNS on March 31st:

"The Board will provide a further update in due course and within the next three months."

Given we are approaching the end of that period, I am unfortunately also expecting the process to be dragged out yet further.

it looks like interest rates are likely to continue on their upward trajectory.

JIM shares are a great hedge.
