Long uptrend still in place, however, short term short if it breaks 470, opening up 460. Thinly traded. EDIT - put another co. results in !

Dear all,

Has someone somewhere woken up to the potenetial here??

The charts probably don't look that good, please correct me if I am wrong chartists, but the trading environment for good quality insurance brokers, especially those with international capability has not been so good for ten amybe fifteen years.

Any comment, contrary or otherwise welcome.

Good hunting

All Insurance brokers should be reeping a rich harvest at the moment. Independent's demise has increased rates premium rates even further and brokerage is a percentage of the premium. JLT are big in reinsurance, another arena where rates are hardening fast. All in all full year should look extremely good and prospects for next year or two look strong. I shouldn't worry too much about director sales, thats probably to pay their Lloyd's Names debts!

..and the Master says.....Jardine Lloyd Thomson
10/06/01

"The one year uptrend is showing signs of running out of steam a bit, but is still broadly positive. For now, this weakness would be viewed as a buying opportunity and I would be looking for the strength to return ahead of the 400/440 area - they are a bit of a watch and wait for the bounce. Only if they were to sail straight through 400 would it look like the trend is well and truly over and the outlook for then would be for weakness back towards 360 first. But for now, short term remains weak but medium to longer term looking for the strength to return and for them to push up once again towards the 500/520 barrier. "

...so that'll be a long then.
