After 240k Wednesday then 110k yesterday it’s hardly surprising to see just 1962 shares bought today!

BTW matthew, I have asked them before whether the £750M is net new revenue or are they claiming that £1,3Bn of linear revenue will become at least £750M of digital revenue :)

Nothing to do with ITV i know - but was interesting to hear the guy speak (he broke the ITV story recently).
One day he'll be on Business Live taking about ITV I hope! |

To be fair Morgan Stanley are not spending their own money. They can crack on and spend ITV's money buying back shares at whatever price they are. |
An agreed 'possible' offer has been announced this morning for DLG, just waiting for this one now while underpinned by the dividend. |

ITV are too woke and the board are all but useless, they fired Morgan a ratings winner whether you liked him or not and to me, it was a bad move.
Decided there are better shares going forward so I am out of ITV this morning with a nice profit, decided to cash in while I can, this will not get past 130p any time soon.
I may miss out IF there is a takeover and IF is the word, but I can't see anyone wanting this WOKE dinosaur any time soon.” |
It seems reasonable to me that Morgan Stanley is cautious on buying shares at current levels when they bought back very large numbers when share price close to 63p. i am sure that they will buy back larger numbers if the share price slips back to 70p or lower. We may have to wait a few weeks but the recent press and possible media interest does suggest that something is afoot. In the meantime the company gave a reasonably positive and honest outline view of activities and progress a couple of days back. |

Morgan Stanley are entirely responsible for how many shares are bought, as ITV has to be totally independent during the process.

Since there is mention here of maybe APPLE interest in ITV, I should mention that EE, which is owned by BT, strongly collaborate with APPLE, selling both their phones and media content. I believe this reported opportunistic attempt at a hostile possible take-over of ITV, has 3 parties involved acting as one. Make up your own minds !! |
