Why don’t you let moon fight his own battles then ?
He doesn’t need you sticking up for him on here.
We love having a good old laugh at Moon.
He deserves it for his past actions.
He remains unrepentant so the games continue.

Try not to engage ok .
Just leave it .
LET IT GO .
Walk away ..

Inside the Global Race to Turn Water Into Fuel.

"In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, and in dozens of spots around the globe endowed with abundant wind and sun, investors see an opportunity to generate renewable electricity so cheaply that using it to make green hydrogen becomes economical. Even if only some of the projects come to fruition, vast stretches of land would be duly transformed."

"For eons this has been a quiet, unremarkable place. Thousands of square miles of flat land covered in shrubs and red dirt. The sun is withering and the wind blows hard.

It is exactly those features that qualify this remote parcel of the Australian Outback for an imminent transformation. A consortium of energy companies led by BP plans to cover an expanse of land eight times as large as New York City with as many as 1,743 wind turbines, each nearly as tall as the Empire State Building, along with 10 million or so solar panels and more than a thousand miles of access roads to connect them all.

But none of the 26 gigawatts of energy the site expects to produce, equivalent to a third of what Australia's grid currently requires, will go toward public use. Instead, it will be used to manufacture a novel kind of industrial fuel: green hydrogen."

"We are about to jump from the starting blocks," said Anja-Isabel Dotzenrath, who once led Germany's biggest renewable energy company and now runs BP's gas and low-carbon operations. "I think hydrogen will grow even faster than wind and solar have."

Mate , you should be concerned about the financial peril you are in on here .
Nice of you to show concern but one should look closer to home ;-)

Graham , you should know better than to engage with me.
You will end up down a rabbit hole having to navigate multiple snares … do you really want that ?
You know you can’t win.

So back to my original question , on a scale of 1-10 ….. 😂😂😂😂 8514;😂ԅ14;😂😂;😂

Graham , you don’t have to hold ITM if you don’t want to.
Are you trying to show loyalty to Norbus and fellow loser Moon ?

On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being incandescent with rage and 10 being incandescent with rage how angry are you with the ITM share price ?

Take your time ….

"It's very easy in this current phase for two people you've never heard about to create a 30-gigawatt project and put out a press release,"

"Phantom projects are not a problem confined to Australia. Only 10 percent of the US $240 billion worth of hydrogen projects announced worldwide are actually moving forward, according to a September 2022 study by consultancy McKinsey & Company. Yet many more are actually needed. Building every electrolyzer promised for 2030 would provide only about one-sixth of the green hydrogen required to meet climate targets, according to figures from the International Energy Agency in Paris."

Australia goes all-in on green hydrogen -

'However, manufacturers are reluctant to invest in scaling up capacity due to uncertainty around projects, according to Daniel Schwappach, head of sustainable energy systems for the Middle East and North Africa at Germany’s Siemens Energy.

"We need a lot of security in our projects and our funnel to invest further into factory capacity... large-scale announcements are good, but if you do not see this in a concrete funnel, it is difficult to invest," he says.

Schwappach adds that, while country-level announcements of planned hydrogen capacity help to show ambition, this may not be enough to justify investment in local manufacturing capacity. He points to Oman - which has set a target of 180GW of renewables and 100GW of electrolysers by 2050 - as an example.

"Overall, in numbers, that means we need to build out 300mn solar panels, 10,000 wind turbines and, roughly - depending on the size of the specific electrolyser - 5,000 electrolysers. Looking into my funnel right now in Oman, it is far away from these numbers," Schwappach says, adding that "there is a mismatch between real projects moving forward from pre-Feed, Feed status toward FID status [and] the numbers we see as ambition".'

Paper projects hold back green hydrogen sector -

SK - thanks. interesting article. This extract suggests a future rollout is being considered at some time. Perhaps the ICE vehicles may be dying on a rising curve.

“We’re fighting to create a future for the internal combustion engine by tackling technology deemed unfeasible for cars, in the uncharted territory of -253oC,” said Driver, Masahiro Sasaki."
