An excellent appointment.

This augers extremely well for the Australian project. For it to be competitive it needs to be a joint Linde/ITM venture that can build and support end to end H2 production plants.

I would also expect to see a number of Linde engineer secondments to Sheffield to get the wheels on the manufacturing capability.

Germans - at their most effective in the counter-attack.

He will work a lot closer with Linde now to get things moving. No need for Linde to take over. Get the production side sorted and watch the orders come in from Linde and others.
