They will have a job to do and orders to fill or wouldn't be employed. We've gone past the ridiculous cooley and his decorative oompaloompas without a job to do only singing the hydrogen song. |
Hopefully more sustained a rise here! |
Let's see what tomorrow brings. All sounds positive to me. |
Psst my mate who lives in Sheffield says ITM power are hiring quite a number of people so they are expanding... But of course, that doesn't come free either... Works both ways... Lots of expansion is normally good but I dont know what Mr Market thinks.. |
sorry wrong thread |
graham: I just have... Moon: No idea... From recent update I guess it will be "good" but the reaction to the "good" news - I have no idea... Alas... Often things go up on "bad" (not as bad as thought) and down on "good" (not as good as thought) so really I'm clueless. Its not so much what the company says its what the market says about it that really counts.. And that is always a mystery to me. |
You can’t really compare CWR to ITM they are worlds apart CWR doesn’t manufacture anything ITM do. |
What are you expecting tomorrow? As you twitch the net curtains |
Moontheloon: I have absolutely no idea what you mean... I did do a couple of posts comparing the two - as is a good idea when investing, but apart from that I just dont understand. I think you're confusing me with someone else... Unless you dont believe in comparing companies....If that is the case, I cant help you. Sorry, I do it a lot. |
You keep referring to cwr. This is the itm thread. |
Moontheloon: Was that aimed at me? In which case I'm not sure what you mean... I'm saying if you subtract ITMs 2025 cash from its Market Cap its worth about £50M In order to be valued at NET £50M it would need to generate about £3M in annual profits by about 2027 otherwise why the big valuation (big in the sense £50M is a lot of money to be valued on top of the cash pile)? |
Puts the UK’s green hydrogen investment to shame.
Spanish Prime Minister Announces €1.3 Billion Initiative for Green Hydrogen Hubs |
What are you talking about? If it's cwr take it to that thread |
Taking it further... To be valued at net worth £50M by end of 2025 (eg balancing off the cash with the share capital) the market must think the company can generate about £3M in annual profit a year within a reasonable time frame...
Is that likely? eg £3m annual profit by about 2027 ? |
On Target: No one is disputing that 2025 the cash will go down... At current rate its about £30M to £60m - Eg in trading update it said £203M (which is £30M down from the full year of 2024) - so yes by the END of 2025 FINANCIAL YEAR it will be about £170M to £180M.... What is important is the deacceleration rate of the cash burn against the acceleration rate of the revenues/profits ..... But also as it stands at the YEAR END of 2024 accounts ITM Power is a NET-NET stock and CWR is no where near a net net... What is good about CWR it proves that ITM Power can move away from being a NEt-NEt stock and be viewed as a growth stock... |
"ITM stated in the trading update 5/12 they expect it to be in the range of £170-180m"
Wrong. That figure was for the end of their financial year (end of April), not calendar year. |
We make are own decisions, I am personally happy to base mine on CWR statement from this morning and ITm’s guidance from early December. |
You can see my point? Where has CWRs extra £50m cash come from ? Was there a share issue I’d 2024? Or was it a loan? |
This is CWR cash position (I guess deducting CURRENT liabilities) |
The statements are both provided by both companies in compliance with regulations. DYOR |
ITM
CWR
Not a smoker I’m afraid. |
@netcurtains Your cash positions are incorrect- CWR say today in cash position at 31/12 of about £102m ITM stated in the trading update5/12 they expect it to be in the range of £170-180m
There are clearly benefits to both business models, but in CWR’s defense I don’t think any ARM investor complained on using the licensing model!
Tomorrow just needs to be clear with concise and transparent numbers for revenue for this year, expected deliveries for the coming. Continued vagueness has led to the current share price and needs resolving. |
Am looking forward to tomorrow if CWR is anything to go by |
