Nel temporarily halts hydrogen electrolyser manufacturing at flagship 1GW factory in Norway
Next please |
Start of electrolyser manufacturing consolidation as per Dennis comments
French hydrogen electrolyser maker Elogen at risk of closure as owner seeks to limit 'financing needs'
The company, which has 160MW of annual electrolyser manufacturing capacity at a facility near Paris, has only announced electrolyser sales totalling 18.5MW, but has not announced any completed installations to date

BMEL re your "Good man - he does not like the idea of someone in Shanghai with an 'off' switch for critical kit - like electrolysers"
Agree but unfortunately the UK is connected to China by an umbilical commercial cord. Maybe these politicians should look at their pants and vest and dog poo bags (mine at least) its all/most from China (other countries in Asia as well of course). So maybe the challenge to the UK leadership is to compete with China by setting in place the conditions for companies to make over here. Tragically fat chance as for 50 years or so they have been making life difficult for UK make. The current lot it seems are stoking the fire for UK companies see offshore is the way forward. |

Good Headlines in major UK Newspapers
Front page on the Times - 'Labour's net-zero push hand power to Beijing' Ex MI6 chief warns against drive to bring Chinese energy infrastructure.
Good man - he does not like the idea of someone in Shanghai with an 'off' switch for critical kit - like electrolysers
Front page Daily Mail (Scottish edition) - 'The £380 m Green Energy Con Trick' That's the amount added to our bills for windfarms NOT producing electricity
FINALLY - the media wakes up to who is paying - the consumer - and neither they, nor the consumer, was aware of that before.
THis has the potential to be a political storm, set against the context of high cost of living and very high cost of electricity
waste not want not - turn it into hydrogen |
Well, they never tell the truth, she's another politician just feeling her way without specialism. |
Reeves should have wound back employees NI and not promised not to increase tax because tax is going up like it or not through higher prices |
Miles worse
At least Jeremy Hunt knew what he was doing |
Are you referring to reeves... what has she done now .. ? This is getting worse than the truss era. |
Bmel
They can all please themselves. Schulz delivered best in class . The market is there. The Cooley class blow artists are dropping out..There is a lot of fun to come |
Oh moon
Another short looming thanks to Rachel from accounts |
https://www.aol.co.uk/uk-sign-climate-change-co-000100639.htmlChatham House said a formal deal would enable 'bolder and more confident engagement' by the UK in China 'and vice versa'.Yeah and flood uk with cheap everything, including electrolysers and destroy any chance of itm getting off the ground. Most probably steal every bit of tech we have too. |
Fair to assume that Qube guys had not read the Dennis post before they increased their short again.
Helikon have got to buy back circa 18 m shares, in a market of very low volume trading.
I think the market will notice when they start and their considerable paper profits will get smaller right quick. Oh dear. |
I don't have full access, but the title is fairly self explanatory! |
From a couple of days ago :-
And if want to download the The HEA shaping Great British Energy policy paper :- |

Doesn’t matter when if you short. Electrolyser manufacturer is going out of business shortly and it’s not ITM.
ITM are in a very good position going forward with a quality and low cost product and low cost installation. With regards to Tesla battery it’s already out there and not a lot of difference in range or charging time. Hydrogen cars no hydrogen trucks yes and is the only alternative for zero emissions long haul. |
Buywell - Why is it that people on here always come up with the Hydrogen vs Electric cars argument. ITM doesn’t make fuel cells for cars or trucks so an article about Tesla seems pointless on here. Even so, their Tesla Semi was touted to be manufactured in the 50k unit region by the end of 2024. It has produced about 100 in the last 5 years that Pepsi are using to move bags of crisps, no doubt due to the weight of batteries. They also travel 500km and have no charging network. This company is about big industry replacing grey hydrogen with green hydrogen. |
Gimme
I know Skinny looks at your old thread. He allows potty trash but could not stand facts or opinions ; The thrill of publishing |
Graham I am tempted to short but not yet |
You can not feed the energy needed in the transition the world's industrial processes using Mr X's batteries. We need many ways NOW to even attempt to turn around global warming and if improved batteries are part of that then fine! |
