I thought that matched the RNS issued on 08/07/2024 for 500mw capacity reservation until 2028 by a global industrial company, but that is for projects in Europe and US.
“The agreement covers the period until the end of the 2028 calendar year and foresees call-offs against future projects in Europe and the US.”
This could be another 500mw. This approach to using the excess energy generated by the wind turbines would be so much better than paying the operators to shut down the turbines. |

From a pragmatic view, with Trump and the mess in Europe and now the Middle East - it remains to be seen if there is the political will or stomach to take that leap of faith.
Of the runners, ITM are definitely up there with the best - as I think, are CWR.
I only have small holdings in both now, having taken most money off the table some time ago. |

But why is there `not much grant aid`? I thought the institution that was giving out aid to Companies had told the Government that it didn't want any more money as they had `too much and no-one to give it too` or words to that effect..... Government clearly want the headlines though...
