Morning Graham
How’s your trade?
Maybe make another one? |
What if you had your own renewable electricity though. RWE already doing it in Germany. You don’t have to buy electricity from the grid to produce green hydrogen in fact it would be very difficult to call it green hydrogen bearing in mind grid electricity is a combination of renewables and fossil fuels. |
The UK's high electricity prices certainly do little to encourage anyone to invest in electrolyser H2 production.
Unless you plan on buying only cheap/free stranded renewables. |
Now wipe your keyboard then |
I am starting to build up holdings now. |
Rhetoric or real. Can't do any worse. So maybe a positive |
https://www.aol.co.uk/starmer-bids-restore-uk-role-170151513.htmlThe Prime Minister launched the UK-led Global Clean Power Alliance, which will involve several countries including Brazil, Canada and France. |
Why would someone wait till the share price drops to add to their short. 😂😂128514; |
No trade, no truth barney |
Which trade was yours barney? Be interesting to watch if you added 25%, that's way more ballsy than my taste, but I suppose if its off the back off a big 'win' While the planet loses. |
Go for it Barney Boy 👍🏻 |
How’s your trade going Graham?
High time the outfit stopped this back slapping linked in nonsense and put some tangible news out via rns
I will be increasing my short position by 25% if this carries on for another week or so |
Everything we know about the UK losing innovative companies
Fuel-cell van maker First Hydrogen has recently revealed a development programme in Canada. The UK and Canada-based company has conducted trials of its vans in the UK, but has had to decamp to Canada and Europe where interest in hydrogen light commercials is much greater. |
Sector well up over the pond |
The cost to fill up a Toyota Mirai depends on the price of hydrogen, but here's some information to help you estimate:UKIn the UK, hydrogen costs about £12 per kilogram, and the Mirai can hold 5.6 kilograms of hydrogen. This means that filling up the Mirai costs about £70 and gets you around 400 miles of range. Not much benefit to a hydrogen car other than the zero emissions. But it will set you back £64,695.00Fuel Economy336.29 - 348.74 mpgWLTP CO2 0 - 0 g/km |
I guess once the Grangemouth refinery shuts all oil will need to be refined abroad. So no control of imports of diesel or petrol. Talk about energy security 😂😂128514; |
Better to waste eg 50% of stranded wind to liquefy the H2, rather than 100%? |
Instead of pouring tens of £billions down a hole capturing carbon from other countries, and paying hundreds of £millions into constraint payments to turn off 'inconvenient' power generation, why not use some of that money to persuade the oil companies to set up a huge H2 generation facility and ship the H2 to the power stations to burn alongside gas?
Gas generation today 15:50 pm - 55.3%, renewables - 8.5%. |
barney has seen the light |
whats on then ? |
