any thoughts Norbus? |
Our buddies at JPM are here LOOOL |
In the uk, you mean. |
First thing they'll do is downgrade itm again. |
Jp Morgan the irony |
Perhaps they can get some decent investors buying now. |
Well, they came up with something anyway |
Without subsidies AND therefore customers - the whole sector is going nowhere. |
Have wrote to couple of MP’s advising them of the situation but no doubt nothing will come of it. If anyone can do the same might make a difference. |
Very difficult when the competition are getting millions in hand outs meaning they can undercut competitors using grant money to subsidise their products. ITM can compete and win work if it was a level playing field. |
Think there will be grants eventually but too late pathetic politicians in this country really don't have any brains and zero dynamism. But same old story itm need to be able to succeed on their own without handouts |
There was so much hope for labour and hydrogen... then they started watering down pre election. |
Bloody frustrating for ITM. No support from this Mickey Mouse government whilst electrolyser manufacturers in the EU get millions in grants.
Moving out of the UK is now paramount |
LOL great idea. |
😂😂128514;😂. Perhaps they can send the CO2 in ships and dump it on the French coast. |
Other countries do not enjoy the privilege of having a load of eco zealots in their midst.
Imagine spending c.£20billion on capturing CO2. How does that create wealth to help people pay their heating bills?
If we only produce 1% of the world's CO2, how do they avoid processing all the CO2 from other countries?
Does CO2 know it has to stop at the French border, unlike the illegals? Maybe the Gendarmes will have to wave big fans to send the CO2 to us as well. They love to spite us so they will probably try something even madder than this post.
At the same time, the zealots allow our premium steel production to be closed down due to a lack of investment. Maybe the Chancer will adjust the figures so comprehensively that we will realise we are not bankrupt at all and our alleged huge debt is just a big hoax
Then they wonder why people voted to leave the EU.
Rant temporarily suspended. |
The good news,spelled out |
And in the U S. |
Japan and India looking at it as well.
Japan’s largest steelmaker claims hydrogen injection has cut its test blast furnace emissions by a third |
"Wonder if British Steel will convert blast furnace to hydrogen now." Would that work, Graham? I don't think so. Coking coal is essential rather than other variety because it provide a porous path for the air throught the ore. Trying to blow hydrogen through just iron ore dust seems impossible. 50 years since I left the steel industry so if you might have more recent knowledge. |
added @41 surely oversold at this level imo, GLA |
There was Amy's previous firm looking at green hydrogen a while back despite itm being a stones throw away. Nothing occurred |
