if they were to keep buying then that would mean the share price would rise, which basically means the objective would then cost far more than if they were to just come out and make the offer, you are quite right about lewis though.
interesting if nothing else!

the Mail article seemed fairly positive that another predator was about, apart from V. S. & A. So they might be adding to their stake to beat the other interested party to the 30% ceiling.

If anyhting is to happen I reckon it rests with Lewis (doesn't he still own 12% or thereabouts?) If anyone is serious about launching a takeover there is probably some intense, behind the scenes discussion going on with Lewis.

at this stage whats another 1.3 million share surely they are not looking for growth, this would be very risky, so what does it mean? imho i believe a takeover but i'm more likely to be wrong.
you would thing that they could spend the money elsewhere to get a good return, if it was just for a return they are looking for?

time will tell as always!

Rumour rumbling around regarding a potential bidder....Messe Duesselldorf....something like that anyway........Apparently they are an exhibition company that were already trading in Russia pre ITE early days and were arch rivals in there respective patchs many years ago.....their turnover was 200m last year and could therefore digest ITE without so much of a hiccup........HOLD ON!

Rumour has it he's been working , don't believe it myself.

Was in Sterling before they took off a couple of years ago due to their internet exposure. Sold too early and haven't looked at them since.
