Prices also on the up.

"All over the shop, from shipping rates, to computer chips, steel, varnishes, paint and polymers, prices have been surging."

Morning all,
Good week last week. I am delighted we kept the share price almost to the peaks.

Thordon/Parob: the licensing of the IP is happening more and more. This is a development of the ITX business model that both enables revenue to rise above $15m per annum with the existing production plant and also raises the gross margin as the GM on licence products will be damn near 100%.

I think we are completely unaware (until now thanks) of how much licensing is starting. JS mentioned this in the analysts presentation but your work is revealing its scale.

What is quite incredible is that not only is IT IP green technology but also its use saves the customers money in terms of size, odour, water use etc etc. This is phenomenal as it means the IP is really really difficult to substitute so looking at Porters 5 Forces we can largely eliminate one important one.

Is it now likely that ITX IP product will become the standard globally for all the products? By licencing the IP ITX removes the need for big boys in the industry having to develop competing technology. ITX is the Dolby of the market. If you do not know the Dolby story it is fascinating. They made their technology for sound on music available to everybody at about 1.5p per use. Seems silly except that every music system in the world son used it and Dolby became fabulously wealthy.

Have a great weekend all. Very exciting.

Top PATT tip: if you have kids going to University (or are going to have them going) save your money before and then in the years they are at Uni (actually year before and up the one before the last) contribute these savings into your SIPP to reduce your net income after pension contributions as a household to around £21k (so if you and your wife/partners/whatever earn £75k then contribute £54k grossed up). That way your kids get maximum grants plus tax free bursaries.

Can these be double checked please and added to the list if not already there.
Did a bit of digging and as far as I can see Solvay still produces EURECO™ RP103 under licence with ITX

Hi Parob/Thordon/dougerboy or anyone that may also be on the ADVFN board, is it possible that you could post the info I have come across on that platform, as it is usually collated from there.
Looks like the Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid or (PAP) for short is in many many products, teeth whitening being another one that I have unearthed, I have only listed a few, but there are many more, need to get away from the keyboard for 5 minutes lol.

It has it's risks. As mentioned by someone earlier, a bit of significant news and you can be caught out. I struggle to committ to penny punts that are this volatile as long-term buy and holds. But, that's why I only took half off this time and will hold the rest and add when the chart meets my normal buying criteria.

Yes I did. Sold 85% and built up again when the chart flattened.

If you had half a brain and a bit of experience you'd notice that stocks that pull away that hard from their moving averages often have a significant retrace.

Go have a look at UK Stock Challenge - Si C, You'll see I'm 11th with ITX as one of my holdings and if you go back to 2020 you'll see that it was one of my pics then too.

Missed the boat by anychance did we?

A growth share in a growth trajectory. As a long term holder with 1M+ shares I ask myself - daily (can’t help it!) - what part of the journey are we on today. And with each passing day we are a day closer to a company communication on factory capacity being increased. I wonder where that utilisation will be by this time next year - two thirds?

There's a long list of positives with ITX, not only the technology and continuing development of it into wider market segments, but there currently seems to be no competition, and as a first mover getting embedded in global corporations products, it could prove difficult if a competitor did come along to try and break into ITX segments.

Yes the valuation to turnover does look very heady, and perhaps one shouldn't compare it with Tesla or Amazon, and yet there are alternatives to Tesla and Amazon, whilst ITX tech looks set to be inside a large percentage of essential everyday products on a repeat basis.

I would be happy to see the price fall back to 8p, as I would load up with some more, but I'm guessing it will sit around the 10p to 11p level until some news shows up.

Fully expect the share price to be discounting next year's turnover. If patt is about right on 7.5m for this year, then 10.0m seems a fair target for next.

I wish I’d been in since 2 ...

Still rather happy though. A small pull back wouldn’t be unexpected however yesterday’s walk down suggested there was no rush for the exits. I’ve never seen anything drop so methodically.

In a situation like this I don't think applying standard rules of value help ie multiples of turnover as a guide to marketcap. Nobody tried to do that with Amazon or Tesla and actually ITX is in a similar place although totally different market. It's products are unique, addressing green issues and just beginning to attract attention. The potential is enormous. I've also been in since sub-2p days, have a good sized holding and have no intention of top slicing.
I also don't believe that looking at the charts helps with ITX because of its unique position.

CT Good post.

I guess it depends on your own metrics. But IMO anything over 5 times Mcap/turnover is getting well priced. So based on current they would need to be doing close to $10m

Appreciate the potential....that's why I have been following/trading since 2p.

SiC.....yes. my assumptions. I also correctly called H2 2020 revenue at $2.25m which was far above forecasts.
Well done for a good profit. I too have been in since 2p but I see this share as a 'add only" as I do not know when the next trading update will arrive. Different trading strategies but respect from me to you for a good working of yours.

Stockopedia estimate total revenue for 2021 to be $8.92m, EPS 0.418c and PER of 38.3 - which looks in the right ballpark for current price. However, if we believe large contracts imminent then these figures would be a substantial underestimate.

"The world seems to move too fast for you SiC....stick to bank shares." - I believe best to avoid personal comments, as lowers the tone of the board and results in endless slanging matches. Waste of energy all round.

Ahhh - I see. Based on YOUR assumptions only and not news from the company.

FYI I've been in and been trading since 2p. Sold half yesterday as that chart is technically screaming a pullback to me.

Exactly why I barely ever post in ADVFN chats.
