Very promising. Thanks horsey.

I don't see why that total spend shouldn't find its way into UK SME and our economy and even the crumbs are worth decent $ to the like of IQGEO.

If a few of those involved in the digital twin element sat round a table it would be good for all, to make sure each optimises their offering to work with the other.

CGI, an IQGEO partner, is involved in this National Grid project.

Sensat is the company, it won't let me post the link. Sensat.co worth a look.

National Grid invested this week and would make a good collaborator/partner.

Many opportunities in UK Grid -

This is just UK, the total global spend is mind boggling -

Not the same type of digital twin but Nat Grid have invested and United Utilities use.

A good one to collaborate with on some new infrastructure roll-outs? They have a very useful looking product.

What chance some of the people attending the meet-up see the roadmap, who attends, and then decide to buy some stock? Perky today by coincidence?

Vodafone creating a jv with Altice to deploy FTTH to up to 7M homes in Germany over the next 6 years.

Would be nice to get in on that.

If we can get a monthly close > 157.5p it also looks like a monthly supertrend change. Only happened twice before and both times there was a run up of price and the 2nd time it ran for a long while.

Runway matters in a growth company as short growth bursts don't justify high valuations. The Comsof acquisition has increased the run considerably. The capabilities can be applied to multiple market sectors requiring Network planning and roll-outs. Smart City has hardly started yet but will need these capabilities.

They have a wide wavefront ahead of them, with depth, and can run for a long while. If they address new markets well it will be like pushing at an open door imho, dyor, etc.

This is interesting as Comsof were predominantly perpetual licence with a target to move to recurring revenue, under IQG, over time.

Yesterday, Comsof announced $2.8 million over 3 years. Is this a sign the recurring revenue model is arriving quickly and if so improved margins? The lower value contract won was over one year and reads as perpetual licence.

Comments?

Approaching £100M market cap, which should broaden institutional investor interest.

Two senior people from Infosys are presenting at the IQGeo Meetup in Denver. Infosys is another company that might well be interested in acquiring IQG, but it's a long list - Oracle, Tata etc etc.

Hopefully, though, it can stay independent for another couple of years as there's lots of value to be created yet - all the pieces seem to be in place for some pretty dynamic growth over the next 2-3 years.

By end 2022 Comsof only needed to sign $0.8M of new business to get the first earn-out.
It actually signed $2.8M over 3 years!!!
Comfortably achieved the necessary target.

"In addition, IQGeo is pleased to announce contracts with two top-10 US based fibre network operators, the first worth US $2.8 million over 3 years for the use of the Comsof automated fibre planning software and the second for an initial one-year contract worth $0.6 million. The first contract constitutes the first EUR1.5 million tranche of the Earn-Out Consideration for Comsof which was acquired on 12(th) August this year."

Becoming a desirable property for an acquirer too and that could be any number of interested parties including the likes of Siemens who you don't here of in this market. Obviously GE too. Half a dozen + could afford this out of pocket change.

52 wk high. Last time it was around here was Oct 2014.
Next 8 yrs will be much, much better.

I'm often wrong but where I sit this has been a strong hold since they seperated the company out and is becoming an even stronger hold even though richly valued.

Right markets, right time, right products, good team and a lot to go after.
Selling, even though priced richly, doesn't look sensible to me.

dyor, imho etc. GLA.

Oh, expect more news that may not already be expected pipeline& predicted imho. When this sort of alignment happens all sorts of unexpected good news can land at the most unexpected time. Comsof Heat, Smart Meter etc??

Anyone from IQGEO read this thread?
Take a look at Doomberg on Twitter and comments on New England/Boston Grid fragility.
Worth a read and one Boston grid manager agrees.
Some not very clever thinking been going on for years & change needed.

Interesting read-

Volume perked a little yesterday. Something brewing imho.
News could land any day on Comsof etc. More time after meet-up before end of the year than there is before meet-up. Not long to wait. Major earnings are still in $ and reporting in £.

Yes he says RPI + % but I think he says the % is capped at 5% rather than the whole formula.

RPI + % is mentioned but then he says can be capped at 5%.
Will take it as 5% maximum for longer contracts.
Annuals can be increased when they come for renegotiation more often.

Will re-listen. That would be a very useful inflation hedge. What not to like with current earnings largely in $ too vs weak € & £.
