Posted at 24/1/2025 08:41 by longtallsally It’s not but I guess we’re going to get a few of this type of post here as new investors look for something to try and pump ;) |
Posted at 06/1/2025 21:15 by longtallsally It doesn’t matter how the wider market semi index is doing, especially AI because IQE isn’t seeing new business and their revenue has collapsed. If you’re going to bother posting links at least comment as to why you believe this is instrumental for IQE. I sometimes think IQE investors don’t really understand what IQE does. |
Posted at 31/12/2024 09:33 by longtallsally I don’t know about specific date for Micro LED but it won’t be this decade for large revenues. It’s effectively still in development and needs to significantly reduce in costs to make it into devices such as watches and phones that sell in high volume.GaN is starting to happen so should become volume between 2025-2027 and therefor I believe in the next two years I believe the share price will recover to levels where I can exit at my cost price. The key will be when this happens not to believe that IQE is about to be a world beater and dream of £1+ because as we know this is often what we as investors get wrong… |
Posted at 11/12/2024 16:54 by crosswires Just a question of how many investors have the stamina to hold on for GaN and Micro LED etc.Disappointing drift back down, but investors appetite for anything risky has evaporated |
Posted at 29/11/2024 14:52 by longtallsally One day an LTIP share giveaway will fall upon someone who actually earns it by dragging the company back to a going concern that rewards long term investors |
Posted at 26/11/2024 12:51 by longtallsally Willioc. I think when we know how much of the Taiwan concern IQE will sell and what it’s worth we will also know to some degree what the rest of IQE is worth. Once the dust has settled and the company reset I suspect it’s 2-3 x minimum the current share price The real issue when that recovery comes (because IQE has gone through many of these up /down cycles now) is at what price to sell. Most investors (including me) have assumed they can become a large billion pound company. I no longer think that so it will be timing the exit to take advantage of the next share price run up. before the next down turn. GaN is going to be huge, everyone is tooling up for it, they can’t all be wrong and IQE will take their slice of that cake. |
Posted at 02/10/2024 19:13 by tomduck I think it’s strange to see Sally castigated for a very mild humorous post and more shows imo how investors here feel battered by the poor performance of the company. I don’t see why investors shouldn’t moan here about it why would you sit here praising the company. Also look around at some other boards on here, this one is very well mannered compared to many so perhaps show a bit of common sense and don’t be so quick to judge. |
Posted at 19/9/2024 08:14 by picobird Long Tall, are you one of those ‘blind investors’ & does that include Lombard & Investors Chronicle, perhaps AL himself ? |
Posted at 16/9/2024 16:02 by crosswires I do think it’s telling that no insiders are buying as the price falls even further. They will be the first to know that the business is turning round and I think the lack of any inside buys is indicative that the next 6-12 months are not going to be that exciting. On other news I asked an additional question (after the results Q&A) via email via IQE investor relations last week and sadly they haven’t even acknowledged the email. Seems not much love given to loyal investors and whilst I may not have the multi millions of shares some have I do have 1.1m, so would like to think an email response isn’t too arduous… |
