Why take up warrants now 7.50p when one can buy cheaper on the market?

1- Well one can only buy small amounts in the market

2- So if the amount holding in warrants is large, then one has to look ahead on seeing the possibility that the share price will be higher in the future and will be able to exercise them at a much higher price, naturally for a large profit, though paying a bit more now.

3- Also will help the company with extra cash.

Yes FAB is a family business. TB is positioning himself perfectly with IQAI as he can now increase his personal holding in IQAI. Add in the option for Michael Schmainda which doesn't vest until 15/12/24 and you can see manangement are positioning themselves for an eventual predator bid. PI's should follow the money ahead of the curve. I have been.

I did notice that from the RNS, and I would have seen any move by Trevor to increase his stake here as a very good omen.

Remember with TB resigning as a director of Free Association Books, with his son/grandson replacing him as a director, he no longer has a direct association with FAB. This means TB can now add another 11.26% more IQAI shares.
Shares are going to become even more tightly held.

All about revenue generation, as you know. See the October quarterly update, with the next due later this month. Oh and clinical trial commencement next month, GAD free (IB Zero G) FDA submission this quarter, plus IB Delta t1 maps patent pending, we have lots of price enhancing news to look forward to.

But the news DID come, Trevor announced that the biggest cancer centre on Earth was buying the IB suite.The market weren't interested, he's not trusted.Two years ago, that news would have sent this to 25p

Management could have issued warrants with a six month, one year or even a two year expiry. However, they chose not to, as they know news is coming. Now holders, who may have sold placing shares so they could execute warrants at a higher place, have to decide whether to convert today. If we are only talking a small quantity, they could simply buy on the open market at sub 6.5p. However, there are 12m potential warrants to convert, including 3m to TB. No one is going to build a large holding on the open market without the share price running higher very quickly. An interesting day ahead. Let's see what happens.

Not a chance. Who in their right mind would do that?I expect Trevor will do a convertible loan arrangement, or another 5p placing.

Today is D-Day for the warrant holders who potentially can pump an extra £930k into the bank.

Yes the share price is below the 7.5p subscription price however due to low liquidity and the potential they will hopefully put money into the business keep things going a few more months.
