25/4/2014 08:07 | Ammons, Lance has played it well.... | ![]() cyberbub
25/4/2014 08:04 | Thanks c7w. Had the production update not been issued beforehand the shares would still have crashed after reading the statement today. | ![]() ammons
25/4/2014 08:03 | At this price, I wish to buy more, put it that way - next year EPS forecast will be around 8p, so what price do you put on it now? Certainly more than current prices. | ![]() che7win
25/4/2014 08:01 | ammons, partly, at this price it's a steal. The forward looking statements post year end results - progress this year and next are the important points. No cash needed immediately, next year largely unaffected, so 8p EPS next year possible, at this price it looks a steal. | ![]() che7win
25/4/2014 08:00 | While the fracking program affecting 3,4,5 is diruptive now, it does look extremely beneficial long-term - with a substantial improvent in brine flows. If water is diverted in the short term to these plants it is likely to be by pipeline which is also relatively quick to install. Probably by the end of the quarter. This cannot be in the 400 tonnes as the method of diverting is still under "consideration". I expect that measures such as this will eventually lead to much greater continuity as once in place, they will stay in place. | ![]() bocker01

25/4/2014 07:59 | We have to remember that if IO3-5 had been installed on schedule last autumn they would have caught the brine production season - being delayed by 6 months means they have missed it and have to go through the drilling&fracking season relatively lean. The picture should hopefully have completely changed by autumn again...NAI | ![]() cyberbub
25/4/2014 07:57 | In less than 2 weeks Lance has clearly got a firm grip. He is the man to turn this diabolical situation around, and quickly. The no need to currently raise finance comment in published accounts will settle many sitting on the sides : ) | orslega
25/4/2014 07:53 | c7w, is that because the production update had led you to expect much worse? Had todays statement been released WITHOUT the production update ahead of it, what might your reaction have been? | ![]() ammons
25/4/2014 07:53 | At last a Lance RNS! | ![]() bobsworth
25/4/2014 07:53 | Results and more importantly the future prospects are bEtter than I expected. It seems while Lance was away, there were some poor decisions made with not enough foresight. Judging by the exceptional progress of IO2, when it was supplied with increased brine, the long term future for IO3,4,5 & 6 looks very encouraging. We have a short term problem of not enough Brine that Lance needs to address. Once the brine has beer re routed production will increase. How the brine can be increased is a key task. The mini pods are a good idea, but these will take a while to manufacture, though it will surely take far less time than the current full scale plants and associated ground work. Cash should be o.k and I am sure Lance will be whittling away at costs and overheads. I am going to enjoy my breakfast now, a full English! | ![]() rogerbridge
25/4/2014 07:46 | Can't see the Shareprice staying this low for long. Alot of light in that tunnel now | ![]() captain_kurt
25/4/2014 07:44 | Phew! Well done Lance! Sanity returns! | ![]() woodpeckers
25/4/2014 07:43 | I will be interested to read what Share Prophets have to say after their article last night. I did not like the "mug punters" comment. Some mug punters would have made 20% yesterday and probably will again today! IOF is definitely a good day trading share if nothing else. However the company will look very foolish if a dilution does happen later this year after the going concern comment. I suspect other funding arrangements have been put in place. BTW no position here at the moment but watching with interest gla | ![]() knigel

25/4/2014 07:40 | First line -- Completed construction and commissioning of the IO#2 and IO#3 iodine extraction plants based on the Group's WET(R) IOsorb(TM) Technology, achieving a tenfold increase in production capacity compared to unaccompanied IO#1 capacity at year end 2012; If my memory serves me right io1 is 1 MT a week. So current capacity is 500 MT on these alone. | ![]() richi_rich13
25/4/2014 07:38 | I would still like to know in full why the water permit was denied. Surely the company know this. And according to the web site the hearing is on 3 June. "...........The hearing is anticipated to occur in May or June 2014" | ![]() ammons
25/4/2014 07:35 | I feel like the hospital just called and told me all is fine. Although I didn't think it was fatal anyway, I knew other 'members of the iof family' were worried. | ![]() superg1
25/4/2014 07:31 | hmmmmmmmm I was expecting to be reading that and feeling p'd off but somehow have ended up feeling buoyant and surprised. In all that chaos and brine disruption cold winter etc etc etc, did they get actual opex of under $30 per kg. So when the brine is in full flow and the disruption gone, then it seems they will hit forecast opex, then get it lower by targeting higher ppm sites. Chem div doing very well, and Lance will slash those costs in his role as chair. Right things to do, hope it all goes well. | ![]() superg1

25/4/2014 07:29 | Emphasis of matter - Atlantis Water Project (Montana) In forming our opinion on the financial statements, which is not modified, we have considered the adequacy of the disclosures made in notes 2(a), 10 and 28 of the financial statements concerning the status of group's application for water rights in the State of Montana. On 18 April 2014, the group was notified that the preliminary determination of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation ("DNRC") was to deny the group's application. As explained in note 2(a), the directors remain confident that the application will be successful and that the Montana operating segment assets are not impaired. The carrying value as at 31 December 2013 of the non-current assets within the Montana operating segment was $6,558,213. The financial statements do not include the adjustments that would result if the Montana operating segment assets were impaired. | ![]() monkeymagic3
