So john as I understand your view is if the price rises it may continue up but if it falls the price may drop further -
Gosh - I never understood share price movements before .

As to the other poster , of what possible interest is today's share price the only day it counts is when you sell. Lance is good news because he understands the issues ( he's 40 btw which when I lasted looked wasn't that old !)

Most people are programmed to fail!

malachey,

Don't call Simmy a tool. These young children on half term are easily offended.

The market was strong yesterday, someone knew there was news coming today, a 10p rise from yesterday to this morning, Lance's return is now priced in.

Time for consolidation after a strong rise.

PA EOD Pin bar is likely to see a pullback to around 65-70p.

Close above 80p for a few days should see a drive upto 90p.

RSI14 still has some legs. I favour a slight correction before next leg up.

Shonny

I would like to think we will have a red day today or tomorrow...we have moved without taking a break from 49p...the red day is due...this is quite normal and nothing to do with news....the news was priced in...Mr Market knew the news was coming! if you look at the charts we have some resistance...simple and easy.

Have a lovely day.

How low will it go? Back to the sixties I reckon. Possibly lower post results. Todays early buyers have been done up like a kipper. Some people never learn with IOF.

Don't read but there's an advert (joe's post) that shows someone just went short.

No probs with that, could work well if water news is off to hearing, could fail if water news says permit awarded.

Off to hearing, drop and buying for iodine as we know recent placed shorts would close. Positive and not to much of a gap on open, then buy again imo for the water business and knowing shorts will close like mad.

Thinking it can't come pre results, is no different to SC listening to colleagues instead of doing a little digging.

But what else lurks.

No problem Joe, retrace underway. The Lance factor is backfiring big time. Red close getting closer. Normal service is resumed here.

Shonnys hat is in no imminent danger. Mug punters sucked in this morning will be well down by 1630. This is heading towards a red close. Lance Baller was the main instigator of the jam tomorrow euphoria and missed targets. Now he's back. Look out.

re

'I've never counted water as I have never thought the rights would be granted,'

Not a ramp but equally it's the reverse for me. I struggle to understand how the bureau can refuse them.

But that is based on the point of water laws.

They simply can not give it to some and not to others.

If the water is legally available (already confirmed) and IOF meet the criteria (legal identified beneficial use) then by law they have to award it.

They can award for less, as that is in the rules.

However it was said some time back, which is a point I have never looked up or questioned, that you only need 50% of your demand covered in letters of intent.

I don't know if that is a policy or law.

As IOF have more than 100% of the first permit covered in LOIs, I can understand, if not awarded in full, why they would take it to a hearing.

The thought that the bureau could deny IOF any water at all, just seems ludicrous compared to water laws.

So one way or another looking at the water laws, they will get it, or IOF have a case against everyone else in the area who got permits under the same circumstances.

I'm not sure how much you have read about the topic, but imo it's just the bureau double checking re beneficial use as it is a large permit. They can award for less if they have such worries, and it is done so as part of the current application, not a resubmission.

Up No probs at all.

The city and funds were talking much higher figures that were never posted. IOF forecasts had us at 12 plus plants this year, mobiles, and 6 potential water depots. So £1.50 was darn cheap under all the circs and will be if they roll out aggressively in the future v an ailing Chile with so many problems.

If you look back far enough we even forecast way back that 8 plus earthquake in northern Chile, northern Chile identified. Plenty of warning to investors re investing in companies in Chile too, including SQM. All the writing was on the wall although analysts had SQM on outperform on it's highest prices.

More importantly, 'Is CF a Man U supporter'. If so he has something in common with their open top bus.

"it's just been retired".

Next time it will appear (if ever), ITM power will probably have their kit running it. It could be running on lithium iodide batteries of course.
