Remember when we were at 245p? Everyone was bullish - the price didn't go up from there.

You know why? We were all bulls, we ran out of buyers.

The price now is the opposite, everyone is depressed, looking at every negative in the stock.

There can't be too many sellers around at this level, that's when buyers will take the price up.

Building in the winter, yep they have been playing catch up given all the problems with towers etc in 2013. They have caught up very well and we should be saying well done not well what can I find to moan about in the rns. I04 today and March starts tomorrow, IO5 in March. In a very short period we will go from 3 plants to 5. The tech gets better, the builds get faster weather permitting, the hand overs and ramp ups get faster too. They are a young company and I continue to be here for the future.

Cheers monkey. Not a good assessment. I 'started' buying in Oct and Nov. I'm here because I own and believe IOF will motor.

Plus - I made my avatar back in Nov so been here abouts for 3 months. Not realy new but the other bits right. Here to post.

So 4 & 5 still on track for production this quarter, good progress, then we can start raw iodine sales in earnest.

The market surely must start pricing in next years forecasts of 11p EPS and 35%+ growth.

You can almosyt guarantee that if the price goes up Shonny will not appear. If it's flat or falls well get a "Told you so - 60p next" - type post. What we won't get is anything pre opening. That would require some sort of analysis. Not Shonnys style.

Warren - your a doom and gloom merchant. Stop deramping.

That's rich coming from a new avatar specifically set up to post on this thread.

Great news. Steady as she goes but no question now that we are heading in the right direction. That's all I needed to hear.

Ennismore must see that this is not a share to short anymore.

I didn't say they should avoid the winter cold. I said they should have taken this into account when planning i.e. assume there is going to be some cold weather and allow contingency for this when telling people when you are going to complete.

Cyber

No it was a bit of humour re spring. Not happy with winter delays, so do they say, we'll wait to spring so that it doesn't slow things up, which of course delays builds far more than the odd cold week or two.

Io2 slow up was due to 8 and 10 foot snow drifts, a one in 50 years event for OK, and yes the US had some extreme cold in that polar vortex.

I did not expect any more from this rns. At least we know where we are and another few weeks until IO4 & IO5 are producing. Steady as she goes, we are on are way to a prosperous future for all holders.

I'm pleased with this RNS. The iodine plant roll-out continues. Well done Iofina!

we wanted to know if io4 was built in feb...yes it is!!!

io5 not far behind.

some people were shouting for an update to see if io4 was built we got one.

as for the brines going to it.

"The tie-in to the well operator is also complete and has been approved by the operator. The plant is located in the vicinity of IO#2 and IO#3."

regulatory inspection and approval = all the standard norm as happens on all plants.

another cash machine just about ready to produce.

the roll out is happening

5 plants by the end of march...should have a significant impact in the iodine world.

Delays are always a problem but then you would hope that Management factor 'inevitable delays' into their calculations when they give their guidance. Obviously if they still have to announce further delays having included some 'wriggle room' it reflects very badly on them and makes them look incompetent.

In the Eastern USA, it has been as low as minus 18 and the economy is suffering because of this - all US industry is impacted. IOF are not immune from this.

Delayed a few weeks from when ? What they said 5 weeks ago? Which was a delay on what they said in the prior RNS which was a delay on what they said prior to that ?

So IO 4&5 should be signed off by the regulator around mid march..... not bad at all really. at least it gives us an indication that progress is being made and will continue to be made. Good news IMHO.

On that point, why people that buy houses on flood plains, then moan about flooding, defeats me. A little bit political there Sg1.

Joe Stalin - What's the betting SHONNy doesn't turn up till after there's some market movement indication??
