27/11/2013 20:59 | Angel of the North 27 Nov'13 - 16:50 - 11633 Well summed up. RNS soon methinks Maisie dog seemed to think there was a surprise in the offing but I suspect he/she might just be gently stirring the pot. Bobsworth 27 Nov'13 - 16:54 11634 Well done. I hope you'll share whatever answer you get superg1 27 Nov'13 - 20:26 11651 then 11655 Great finds SG | ![]() johncsimpson
27/11/2013 20:52 | Ennismore are on the back foot. Being short when the delays are priced in with water news and operational updates due means shorting isn't currently very clever! | hurricane.

27/11/2013 20:41 | It's just the 'port site' Fresh. Perhaps I should have mentioned that, as we know plant equipment comes from the Ukraine, then it will be for plants in Oklahoma. Rug no need, I already have it's course plotted. | ![]() superg1

27/11/2013 20:26 | Digging continued 31st October 2013 Something arrived in relation to 'equipment for iodine' in Texas (for Iofina). It came from the Ukraine. On a ship called MSC SOCOTRA. Rug can you track it on a map please, for the next voyage. I know you can do it :-) | ![]() superg1

27/11/2013 19:18 | It seems the last post relates to Cosayach. The prior world number 2 on a planned comeback which is falling apart. Apparently the different names could be to do with the avoidance of creditors. ;-) I would imagine the nay sayers from Ennis will now need to get busy with any old rubbish. Well the topic may change over the next week or two ;-) | ![]() superg1
27/11/2013 17:54 | I'm so glad you guys kept going on about he iodine while I had my attentions elsewhere. It caused me to have another solid look at what is going on in Chile, mainly because claims by Chile mines about expansion, which imo must be BS as they can't afford to do that as their costs are so high. As proven in posts mines have been abandoning expansion plans. Ennis need to get a better researcher. Just found this dated 7th Nov 13 Cause No. 3974/2013. Resolution No. 89798, Supreme Court of Chile - Fourth Chamber (Joint) of 7 November 2013 Movement: Judgment - ABANDONED RESOURCE Entitled: SALITRE COMPANY AND IODINE WITH CHILE SA MINING CHEMICAL SOCIETY OF CHILE SA Note the title ABANDONED RESOURCE. I am trying to work out who from the title. I think I was hunting for acf minera details at the time, but Cosayach have some of those wordings too. They can be known by other names. :-) Hang around Ennis, while the Chile iodine producers are crumbling, I'm going to devote some considerable time to digging out all these hidden relevant points. | ![]() superg1

27/11/2013 17:10 | I am sorry I have not replied to some of the comments on US-8591743 (post 11604), but I posted it just before leaving home. CK and Test have clarified most points in my absence, thank you. CK, with regard to when it will be RNS'd. For comparison the last Iofina patent to be granted (US-8496815) was published on 30/07/13 and RNS'd on 02.08.13 i.e. thre working days later. On that basis we might expect an RNs on Friday, if the company consider this patent to be of sufficient import, given it is older technology. Crosseyed, 'is the Iosorb technology essentially that use in the WET pods and will therefore be protect from competitors?' No, as I understand it the WET Iosorb process uses blowout towers in which descending droplets of iodine rich brine are stripped by an ascending counter current of air, iodine is appreciably volatile and this process will be helped by elevated brine temperatures. The iodine/air vapour mix is then stripped of iodine in a separate process and the air recycled. A schematic of this process was provided in the documentation provided at the last two Iofina PI presentations. I have not seen any patent application covering this process as such, but the business model for wellhead extraction was protected in US-8496815. The use of blowout type technology for extraction of iodine is well established, but I presume Iofina have tweaked the chemistry and engineering to optimise the process yields and its environmental acceptability. Given the generic protection afforded by US-8496815 and their monopoly of licensing agreements with the well owners they may regard that and their own in house expertise as sufficient protection without the need to file a patent and reveal all to their competitors. | ![]() gadolinium
