10/6/2014 08:42 | I don't think there is a need for another rns at present. The last rns gave production figures, informed the market about IO5 and 6, let it be known that IOF had a profitable month and said that the company was now on course. Unless there is some news which could been interpreted as market sensitive I would not expect anything until next month's update. Once the brine issues are settled re supplies and IO5 and 6 are in production, then I think that there will be the large rises in the share price Until then I suspect it will be investors taking up positions as a result of the restoring of confidence in IOF and in the belief that IOF will really deliver in the second half of this year. | phoenixs
10/6/2014 08:31 | Why would there be an RNS? Surely the announcement of the AGM a few weeks back is the RNS? Or is it not about the agm? | bogg1e
10/6/2014 08:26 | Maybe there is no new 'news' at the moment, the last update was only recently put out there. The AGM this year might just be a very formal affair, most companies do not release news on AGM day. There will be Inst presentations this week though, so hopefully we will see some buying off the back of that. | diggulden
10/6/2014 08:23 | There must be an RNS soon - they cannot announce something at an AGM without telling the wider market. I wonder if yesterday's temporary rise to 102 was someone jumping the gun? You would have to have very 'fat fingers' to mistake 57p for 102p. | joestalin
10/6/2014 08:19 | Don't know, just want to have a chat with Lance. | 1madmarky
10/6/2014 08:10 | I am still expecting one later this morning... | cyberbub
10/6/2014 07:58 | No Rns then: explains yesterday's weakness IMO. | engelo
09/6/2014 17:07 | "Russ. I believe so if you are on the register. However, if your holding is via a nominee account you need them to register on your behalf and then you simply show some ID on the door. For example, this is what I have done with my holding via HL. Unfortunately, they charge for it!" First Direct dont.. I also have an HL account and I am disappointed by that.. | phsycho
09/6/2014 16:46 | Hi All Unfortunately I am unable to attend this year.Would somebody be kind enough to post any questions and responses given.Much appreciated | spideyyy
09/6/2014 16:14 | Never had to show ID last time just record details. Take ID just in case, someone posted re that (photo ID) | superg1
09/6/2014 16:05 | Russ. I believe so if you are on the register. However, if your holding is via a nominee account you need them to register on your behalf and then you simply show some ID on the door. For example, this is what I have done with my holding via HL. Unfortunately, they charge for it! | chumbo
09/6/2014 15:37 | I assume that I can simply turn up to the AGM without prebooking?!? | russ7234
09/6/2014 15:37 | Strange trades ahead of what should be an upbeat AGM. Maybe the MMs want a few to offload higher? Historically, the AGM has always been a boost for the share price so we'll see this time. If we get news of a new CEO and some indication of expansion plans, the market should be bullish and the institutional presentations well received. | che7win
09/6/2014 15:20 | Yes, unfortunately cancelled, we were showing up 70% briefly. | che7win
09/6/2014 15:18 | che7, yes but shame it was cancelled : ( Noticed Peel Hunt no longer on the bid....must have accumulated enough in last week or so (when I noticed that they were only on the bid, no corresponding sale). MMs eh | orslega
09/6/2014 15:16 | Wow! Someone was ripped off there! 8,000 shares at 102p! ;-) | woodpeckers
09/6/2014 15:15 | Someone has fat fingers, 8000 bought at 102p. | che7win
09/6/2014 15:14 | SG,In order to attend do I need any specific ID or is it ok just to roll up? | cordone
09/6/2014 15:10 | I'm expecting one. CEO? and perhaps cover topics like near term plans, brine situation, plant builds. So I'd bet on a general update. | superg1
09/6/2014 13:27 | Plus it would give us something to talk about | 1madmarky
09/6/2014 12:48 | "Last year an AGM statement was released the day of the AGM, I think we might get one tomorrow." Yes, it would make sense to get something out - it might look slightly evasive if they did not do so. | joestalin
09/6/2014 09:14 | Privately owned Cosayach, one of the biggest iodine producers in the world, has been found guilty of illegally extracting groundwater from Chile's Tarapaca province, one of the driest places in the world. The company has been ordered to close 38 wells, which is expected to hamper capacity expansion this year. A director of the privately-owned Chilean iodine producer Cosayach has been sentenced to 61 days in prison after the company was found guilty of counterfeiting water rights in the areas of Cala Cala and Negreiros, northwest of the coastal city of Iquique. Contreras Carlos Quispe was sentenced by a court... | che7win
09/6/2014 08:34 | Last year an AGM statement was released the day of the AGM, I think we might get one tomorrow. Regardless, that chart looks like its going much higher. Stock market is looking strong, lgo, rem doubled recently, others like TUNG up 50%. | che7win
07/6/2014 19:26 | Neddo I thik times are changing. The one 'force for the good' judge that stood against it in the bad days, has recently been selected for the supreme court. If the usual suspects still held the reins, elected or not, the FUT system of tax avoidance would still be there to exploit. | superg1
07/6/2014 11:22 | corruption in chille will overcome anything, | neddo |
