Thanks for the mention; I wouldn't normally react, but I wish to own up to two posters, one of them for the part about Chile which I adapted a tad but was that well written I figured "spare yourself the trouble! - This will do".
The other was the part about Algorta, which shows a better knowledge than I.

Anyway, if you've recognised extracts from your posts, thanks for the help!

Brave man!? I get on fine with CR & he's reasonable enough to agree to differ, & aware that the baby can be thrown out with the bath water .
I find his main thread an invaluable source amongst three threads I read daily.

IMO he'll be saying this is the case with IOF, given a year or two...

Nice to see a quiet and sensible thread, even nicer to see the IOF share price rising from a very oversold position.

Couldn't agree more Captain. The sub-£1 shenanigans are behind us, an uptrend is clear and in theory, nothing stands in the way of a nice rise now.

For any newbies..an excellent entry price. It's going to be an exciting Q1

"it expects full-year revenues and earnings to be comparable to 2012 despite a significant fall in prices and a delay in some shipments.
The reason for this is mainly due to delayed 2013 shipments by Iofina Chemical that will now arrive in 2014, resulting in an inventory build-up. Investec remains a buyer with a target price of 230p."

Let's face it, we all knew this was dirt cheap at £1 - Dr Fay bought at that level recently.

At £1, there was a balance as the T+10 / T+20 brigade sold out to buyers - but the bulls were always going to win at some stage.

It's only with hindsight that one can look back and kick themselves for missing a bargain price.

I said a week or two ago I thought we were 20-30p undervalued, growth that we have has to be priced in at some stage.

A P/E of 10.5 for the year ahead with triple digit growth, something has to give.

No idea re a road show, but I did hear at least one from IOF is here 2nd half January.

On another topic, one PI has spotted that The Sirocco solar panel contract has been put off for a year. Clearly Sirocco are not sure themselves of their future re Chile iodine.

The Aguas Blancas solar park was expected to be under construction by Q1 2014 and to be operational by July 2014. Given Sirocco's recent announcement, Etrion expects construction of the solar park to be delayed by twelve months.

Well I thought they had a speed trap outside old Trafford, as guys I know that have visited, have picked up 3 points, when in that area.

The Millwall muppets getting well and truly stuffed by Southend was Hilarious :-).

They should be playing league games together next season when Millwall go down and Southend up.
