17/12/2013 10:58 | Jackabite - there's more chance of the local authorities letting you back within 100 yards of every primary school in your area than Iof hitting 60p.Any stock picks to share here or you done? | ![]() albany30

17/12/2013 10:40 | Feel really sorry for the likes of Joe, to lose £40k just before Xmas is terrible. If news was not good then maybe IOF could have delayed it after the Xmas/New Year hols. Hats off to Net for calling this spot on from very early, however, really sad for those with realised losses and according to my broker, there are many. Beware of nudges, winks and PING...... | ramu kumar
17/12/2013 10:33 | CF buying is a good start of the road to recovery. Would have liked to see 500000, not 50000 mind you :-) Come on Mr Lantz your turn... | ![]() rickcanning
17/12/2013 10:33 | I was very disappointed to see the rns this morning. Taking my rose tinted spectacles off, the roll out is still continuing , but slower. I had to make a decision today whether to throw in the towel or let it ride. Having given a considerable amount of thought, I have decided to stick with IOF for the long term, Iodine production will increase and future iodine prices could be higher. I have spoken to quite a few friends today and I am surprised as none have sold out, in fact one has been in the market buying. Tis has set my retirement date back, but I am not selling so that a II can buy some on the cheap, IOF is not going out of business. There has been quite a bit of buying today, no doubt II's taking advantage of PI's, or possibly some shorts closing. | ![]() rogerbridge

17/12/2013 10:28 | Director Dealing Iofina, specialists in the exploration and production of iodine and iodine specialty chemical derivatives, were informed today that Chris Fay, Non-Executive Chairman of the Group has today purchased 50,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 101p. Mr Fay now holds 1,300,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 1.02 per cent of the Company's issued share capital. | ![]() diggulden
17/12/2013 10:14 | And while I don't feel superg1 will be too worried by his maladjusted old pal repeat posting here under multiple aliases he should worry for the information he has been deriving and sharing here.A recap of his 2013 posts and updates would unfortunately highlight an even worse series of predictions than the company itself. Why so badly wrong? And how long will George Lantz be in charge? | ![]() albany30
17/12/2013 10:09 | 'Future value is unimpaired'? This company is run by rank amateurs with zero understanding of the power of information. The fumbling of production / plant estimates that didn't need speculated on officially in the first place means that with every delay other factors come into play ie iodine price falling. Why would six months time be a fair target for this share? In six months time other external factors could be hampering the fudged managerial 'style' of this lot so we are left with more hypothetical negatives than positives. The share price lift on future wells - and we have no reason for optimism on completion dates or production levels now - will be minimal for the foreseeable as the share price has been matched down since July.I may buy more but there are plenty other stocks out there with a more deserving management for investment. The last 3 months in particular here has been worthy of P45s. | ![]() albany30

17/12/2013 09:30 | It is one postponement in a series of postponements, the length of such series having become very difficult to determine. Future value may very well be unimpaired, but it is the uncertainty of the timing of that future value that is affecting present value. | ![]() greatgiginthesky |
