22/5/2013 14:44 | Genuine investors in IOF should read or re-read the following post: superg1 18 May'13 - 13:37 - 25495 of 25978 7 0 That bear trap was a conspiracy of lie's. Basically it seems someone made a wrong call assuming news was coming that the water rights app had failed. Then in the week following pre year end results, someone somewhere started some lie's about, a big black hole in accounts, targets would be missed, and the water rights being a red herring. The last one was a bit daft as water rights are not priced in, we have more than enough re the iodine potential. I'm not sure if those in have now gone, but IOF is a crazy share to short given that I can name 10 plus multi billion dollar companies that would imo need to move on IOF for various reasons including self preservation. We have just identified that IOF have acreage near where True Oil seem to have hit oil and have 18 wells in. There seems to be a shroud of secrecy over the latest well 'Laas'. We know they are close to big fines for failing to report on the well in a timely fashion. The only reason I can think of re taking reporting the well production to the wire is to keep secret what they have found, while they consider other leases around them that may be available. This does seem to be a new oil play. A big fine may well be a small price to pay to ensure they get some time, to grab surrounding leases. Interestingly they have named the first run of wells Utopia. Then you have the Weil 1 well, which has yet to have the Nisku play tested. In the well report it says. The comments say it's worth some intense focus (those are current comments form Q1 this year 'If this zone tested productive, it could constitute a new "resource" play over the entire geographical area. The Nisku could represent a very good horizontal drilling target.' IOF surround that well with plenty of acreage. Then if it's not an oil well post tests, it's a Helium well showing 2 billion cf which means IOF have plenty of acreage over commercial Helium. The US just passed emergency legislation re their helium reserve, to keep it open but only for 2 years. Prices have been on the up significantly. Someone may purchase the Helium rights outright from IOF, or a free carry JV. Then we have the 3 forks, 200k plus acres of over 100' thick and some Bakken I hear of 6000 acres. Then the sawtooth re gas, and the Niobara (wet gas) which Exonn listed in a report. Then we have water rights, The Atlantis water resource, the water discharge permit which in turn created the USFW rights swap. The USFW have about 100k acre feet of rights in the area we are interested in so 4 million bpd. Then the Fresno which IOF discharge into, has a storage capacity of 500k bpd. BUT WE DON'T NEED ANY OF THAT That lot is just optional extra's that appeared. The IOF story was about the Atlantis resource for low gas and 50ppm of iodine form 70% yield cold brines. The actual IOF iodine story is now on ppm's of 300 to 500ppm for large plants, and up to 1000ppm for a pod or two, with yields up to 98%. In the timeframe the world iodine production majors have hit big problems, capex and opex has rocketed and so has the iodine price. Japan with over 20% of the world supply and 50 years in the business is in decline. IOF have the lowest capex and opex by far with their own country wanting US iodine and import near 6000mt. ($360m worth) The iodine story is stunning on it's own and would significantly disrupt revenues of multi Billion companies like SQM, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Dow, Troy corp and plenty of others. The list gets bigger re water interest. But somehow some see it as a good shorting opportunity. Absolute suicide imo, There are a host of big hits on the positive side that could appear at any time, and we severely lag what 6 plants could do in revenue terms and they are due to be in place over the next 7 months, with a slim chance that io 7 and 8 may appear. Debt facility sorted, tech proven, opex crazy levels, big demand for their products. That's not even the full story. So many AIM's rely on one aspect of their business in a do or die scenario, IOF are tripping over revenue streams. It's got to be one of the most brilliant investment opportunities around, and that has ever appeared. Then it happens to be in the hands of a brilliant team. Giles Hargreave recently said it's relatively easy for a company to go from a 10m MC to 100m, but much harder to go from 100m to 1 bill MC. Yet he calls IOF his fave small cap share. I understand Richard Lockwood and a number of others are saying just the same. It's not difficult to work out why and some of those don't know the share anywhere near as well as us. Even with all of that I'm just looking at io3 and 4, with one factor I don't mention ;-) | ![]() monts12
22/5/2013 14:12 | Retiree exactly. JS Just to clarify I've not seen the posts mentioned, perhaps ADVFN removed them, I have no idea. Just filter blue trolls, I can ban any others. | ![]() superg1
22/5/2013 13:55 | Yes mate, let's get this thread back to normal service. | n3tleylucas
22/5/2013 13:52 | sg1, your header in the previous board was thorough. As most of us are now aware of IOF potential, can I suggest a brief header in four categories a) Latest info - this can about insurance cover, news about progress etc b) IOF forecast numbers for production, revenue, earnings and SP c) Info on water, helium & oil d) Details of blue posters to be ignored etc sg1, the above are just my thoughts and not....you know what I mean | ramu kumar
22/5/2013 13:35 | Ah, light bulb moment! "Odd - now post 86 keeps changing? Is N3L managing to remove stuff somehow??" Yes. | n3tleylucas
22/5/2013 13:32 | Thanks engelo - unfortunately seems like the only way.Make that 9 now ;-) | ![]() supreme mo

22/5/2013 13:25 | I know what they said johncsimpson, what's your point mate? They were spam, do you know what spam is? Do you know the mechanisms sites like this have to block it? Not sure what you're driving at mate, but I'm becoming keen to find out lol ... you amuse me mate, you really do. Btw, I think I know the culprit, do you? | n3tleylucas
22/5/2013 13:17 | I agree 100% engelo but my initial response was NOT to one of the two. Hence I will move further info to another thread as per the last line of my post 104. | johncsimpson
22/5/2013 13:12 | superg: supreme mo has the only workable rule imo: could you enact it in the header? "The approach I (and 5 others I know on here) have started to take in last couple of days is simple - ANYONE that is seen engaging or entering discussions with a certain 2 people are filtered. Sorry people - by responding to their posts you are playing right into their hands and spamming up the board." supreme mo: make that 7 :-) FILTER AND IGNORE | engelo
22/5/2013 13:07 | Er no N3L Re my posts 87, 88 & 93 (and also posts 86, 90, 91, 94 & 98) For those following, I've not quite worked it all out but as I hinted in my post 93 - quote: -------------------- OK retiree but something weird happened which to me seemed different than responding to trolls - as you put it. As such, I wasn't responding to 'a troll'. We'll move on . . . Added 15 mins later - Maybe able to recover a screenshot. In order not to 'disrupt' things here, I'll post it elsewhere and advise . . .) -------------------- Its taken a bit of time but despite them being removed, I have now managed to recover the content of said posts. In deference to all of you who do not want - as retiree put it in his post 94 - quote: -------------------- Referring to the individual by name in two posts shows interest and gives succour to them. -------------------- I'll do a bit more work and bring those who want to know up to date later on, probably this evening on the other IOFINA threads. Will post details later. | johncsimpson
22/5/2013 12:55 | Exactly jb81 this is where TA falls apart all very well looking backwards to predict the future but when it succeeds only does through self fulfilling prophecy - support and resistance exist because that's where people put there stops and limits thus it becomes so and further reinforcing the myth | warrensearle

22/5/2013 12:00 | Right SCRUTABLE, come back. Had a wee ponder over 'that' post. I think a few others have debunked your central premise already - past performance is not necessarily a guide to future returns - so I won't bother to stick the boot in further. Mind you, you could be right you know. It's a bet, not won yet. By the way mate, they really are struggling to grasp things here, aren't they? I mean come on! I now have free reign on here, whereas before other bearish voices kind of diluted my message ... do they really think these things through SCRUTABLE? It makes me wonder ... it really does mate. Sigh ... then it begins. ____________________ | n3tleylucas

22/5/2013 11:43 | johncsimpson, Let me explain what spooked you. A newly registered poster spammed identical messages about me all over this site. ADVFN have an anti-spam guard, which kicked in. Simple. | n3tleylucas
