Cash was £16.1 mill half year 2022 raised £23mill since.

Loss H1 2023 was slightly bigger than H1 2022 despite delivering c 25 mwh ...

Cash only c£12.9mill..end June burnt through c £26.5 mill in a year.

Another placing incoming ..according to interim rns c 15 mill short term warrants would have seen them through to end 2024 ...so c £7.5 mill shortfall...given the history I'm sceptical it's not a lot more required ...

Let's just hope it's a strategic partner or a buyout .

somebody mentioned debt if this is such a good proposition why does the company never talk of debt ....probably as it doesn't add up at this stage .

DoctorbGreg unfortunately it seems it's only you that thinks this way or frames it that way. The share price is the ultimate barometer of every company and rarely it's ever wrong.

doctorbGreg,

"Not much has changed since the July share price at 54p."

What about the interims that came out in September?

see:

The ones that showed significant losses, including a negative gross margin and cash of just £12.9m.

The accounts that said that IF the share price stays below 50p then the warrants won't be exercised AND a placing will be needed by April 2024?

Just looking back earlier January 2023

Invinity continues to expect contracts for a limited number of initial pilot projects to be announced in mid-2023, with the publication of full product details, product certification, and unrestricted sale of the product expected from H1 2024.

That statement seems constant to what has happened so far this year.

Following on more announcements were made with Mistral coming online in June 2024 with Orders to complete Q3/4 2024 and onwards to Q1 2025.

Looking back over 12 months Share price went up quickly this time last year and people got rather excited, then it went down again to similar levels now. People were negative then suddenly Share price went up again quickly then got excited. So from this I can deduce most are lead by the share price reaction and not the Pipeline or orders ready for 2024/25.

I personally am reframing this idea. It’s a well kept secret which allows me to continue buying at a very good price. We’ve won some fantastic contracts and have a game-changer being released next year. Not much has changed since the July share price at 54p. I bought an additional £1100 yesterday.

Yeah the share price and the daily volume of shares bought and sold makes me think this company is invisible or just not making enough noise. This situation can't be allowed to continue indefinitely and the board need to take a good look at themselves. Theyre job is to ensure the company is making loads of noise and being very visible.

time is rapidly ticking by, and still nothing from Invinity management. The silence is deafening. do i dump my not so small fortune worth of shares before I get caught or do I put my faith in management, I am a gambler but even I am starting to sweat. They need to say/do something before Friday close.

If they get a big project they should be able to fund a large part of it through debt with a smaller amount with equity. It doesn't all have to come from a placing.

I was thinking about Larry and I get the feeling he is more concerned about It being a success regardless of share price .

It's not inconceivable He agrees/recommends a sale if he is left at the helm and with the backing to see it through

We know they are talking to other parties about a significant investment this time feeling it would be more aligned to a synergy as opposed to Shroeders and the like also potentially reassesing Siemens opportunity as they are not taking new orders at the moment and they certainly won't be buying or investing ..well looks unlikely from their recent press etc

As it stands they just keep raising c £20 mill per year and spending it....next year is looking no different

60-70p? Buy out ..pure speculation. A placing more likely.

Larry jokingly told me a few years ago he wouldn't sell Invinity for five pounds a share. More like 50p today I reckon. Definitely think there is corporate interest here just a question of price. GE bid at 50p anyone

Whilst we're speculating... Andrew Monk references invinity in almost every tech & transitional energy podcast. The absence of a mention in that same podcast could be quite telling..

No idea what you are talking about hope your post makes no sense to me . Haven't got time for cryptic posts and most of what you post is off the mark.

15.30 minutes here is the correct link .

"People are taking over UK companies at a rate of knots..I'm not going to us tomorrow for no reason..can't say no more but take my word for it "

With an $84 mill USA government order pending its possible they get taken out .

In relation to the Podcast , Andrew Monk was talking about his son Alex Monk

Invinity Energy Systems -

VSA Capital (Financial Adviser and Joint Broker)

Andrew Monk's Twitter Account X says he has flown out

Yes, he has flown out to New York, all you have to do is look at the VSA client list and you may get some understanding. Just looking at VSA client list shows Invinity probably is not the one he is going to discuss.

Well it was a recent podcast anyway .I was listening to them as a poster on LSE was reporting that he said on the 7 th Dec podcast that he was travelling to the usa the next day about a takeover of a UK listed company ..clearly one he is broker for but couldn't say which. It's a possibility that could be ies ..and went on to mention there would be lots of takeovers of UK companies in q1. Purely speculation but not out of the realms of possibility ..takeovers do happen ! There is nothing in the share price indicating that's the case and us pis are mostly the last to find out . My concern here is there something we don't know about that's caused the drop ..which so often turns out to be the case .the share price has almost halved and there hasn't been any bad news.

The short term warrants expiring would have contributed $4.6 million and the company says they have enough money until April if they are not exercised they where never a silver bullet anyway as that amount alone is unlikely enough anyway to avoid further dilution.

Try to keep up to speed hope with your research . It's not rnsd because it's part of the 84 mwh already announced. It's not a new order like you are presenting . Basic research really .

Try reading RNs 25 September . When you research a company that should be the very basics ..

We are all waiting for new news here ..you keep presenting old news as new news I don't see how that's helpful.

I was expecting an updated Total Voting Rights at start of Dec, which we normally get - this shows how many warrants are outstanding - but nothing appeared.

I emailed IES but no reply, which is unusual, so they are either very busy or have started winding down for Christmas already.

Despite my substantial losses here I’ve been a strong supporter of the company but with only a couple of weeks left of the quarter they have so far failed to deliver on what they strongly indicated we would be getting before year end - decent newsflow on orders for a start. There were supposed to be several more Mistral pilots announced too. And of course talk of strategic funding partners remains just talk.

Despite apparently making great progress this year, the only metric I really care about, the share price, has been an awful, and the failure to get that over 50p has made the funding situation worse as short term warrants have become unviable. Unless they get some serious announcements out asap this has very much been an over promise/under deliver year. Onto 2024!

Has anything been done about the warrants? they expire at end of next week I think? One less chance to raise money without going cap in hand. Just in case I spent my warrant money buying shares this week at 29.5p. I like to gamble but this looks like one of my three legged 200/1 outsiders I like to back.

Only thing that matters here is getting some cash. Yes orders will help but the going concern issue will only go away with a cash injection. Shame but that's the reality in todays markets

Ok News last week thought IES would have said. The week is almost over so I will mention it.

30 November 2023

PNNL and Invinity launched a 24-hour vanadium flow battery project.

A vanadium redox flow battery with a 24-hour discharge duration will be built and tested in a project launched by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and technology provider Invinity Energy Systems.

The vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) will be installed at PNNL’s Richland Campus in Washington state, US. The system will have a power rating of 525kW which it will be able to discharge continuously for 24 hours, meaning a total energy storage capacity of 12.6MWh.

As the research continues and upgrades this can be rolled out across the USA.

So far this quarter they have announced the sale of 1.1 mwh battery .

That's not enough to cut the mustard hence the share price

Still a few weeks left .

There was 52.2 mwh still in advanced pipeline expected to be announced .

Also re USA 84 mwh
"The formal DOE award contracting and final negotiation process for all six projects is expected to conclude before the end of 2023. "

Need all rns to land asap this month . It's the threat of dilution that's hammering the share price if they continually miss targets then more than one set of dilution next year looks likely which will again hold back the share price Obviously every time we get diluted at low share price it decreases the future potential for the share price thats why I find it annoying to hear people to say switch off and come back in a year etc as the company dishes out confetti and even boasts about it .

"We missed our 50 p warrant target but great news we raised another 20 million at 25 p & my jobs safe for another 12 months ..until next time ."

P.s. still awaiting lodes matched partner to be announced.

I imagine most investors are well aware of the market outlook and all the stuff going on in high level dinners (sorry I mean meetings). Its very frustrating when businesses big up the market outlook, but get vague about their company specifics.

O/T and in complete contrast to lots of AIM stocks, I recently watched an investormeet presentation from ALT which almost made me fall off my chair… they showed the overall market size (in a new big market for them) and then the figures if they got 1% of that market.

What a contrast from the bling that you get from others about “global opportunities” etc etc !

1-3% of a big market for a small business is a lot of useful revenue. But aiming for 1-3% if you’ve got a Mr. big ego as a director wouldn’t look good would it ?

It does seem, just like interviewing people, that the ones that big up stuff are the most useless ones, who have actually done way less than the impression they try to give.

“You say that you were responsible for tripling revenue, but earlier on you said you were part of a team of 5 working on that. Could you clarify what you mean please and here’s a tissue for when you start to sweat”.
