If Liberium are correct and IRV need a rights issue (which I think they do at some point) and because the share register is increasingly full of PI's which won't have the appetite to put in a multiple of their current financial holding, so we run with something more like an IPO or OO (which implies no-one will underwrite it I think), why buy now when you can take part in the pseudo IPO or OO or buy someone's else rights at a discount which they can't afford to take up.

The question one might really like to ask is why Liberium took so long to put that note together.

Well it isn't the Liberium note as this was out yesterday before 12:20

News of Farringdon selling could have leaked out overnight but that would be insider dealing wouldn't it?

Perhaps but not a story to say this has to rise to 180...

Oh I see. This must be why they have fallen from £7 a share to 80p a share.

Additional borrowing secured .... any other business would be assessed on the facts, not the sentiment that adding more loans is so good....
So net debt higher than ever, massive losses , excuses that were it was all EFW shown to be misleading and actually there are a whole load of issues, 20% dilution to come, a fund raise still Not done and to be sorted , very expensive interest rate with penalty if not sorted out soon, with now even greater debt to re-finance.

I would say just take a hard look at the facts - not the speculation that things will get better - they have said that for 2 years already anyway.

When IRV were in dire straits and on the brink of bankruptcy or mooted 95% shareholder dilution, Liberum were adamant that they were a Strong Buy with a conservative TP of 180p. Today, with a financial package now finally secured, with much better conditions for shareholders than feared etc etc, they decide to downgrade to Hold and slash the TP 90p. I'm totally baffled as to why they've suddenly taken this stance!!! It would seem they can pluck any TP figure out of thin air!!!

You can log in the Rockingham auction without registering (live right now). They are going through the catalogue quite fast. Already raised 1+ million and big excavators still to be auctioned. Every little helps!

Net debt is not sustainable, so something will have to happen. The Board keep spinning it, but they must know that they need an equity raise / significant divestment. All credit to management for getting this far, as I thought that was going to be difficult.
