I'm not sure that article is correct. If I read the RNS correctly they have 16% in shares but another 10% in CFds making 26%.It makes no sense to me. I can see that 26% at 70p isn't actually a lot of money given IRV market cap but they have so many they can't exit short term without affecting the share price so at least in the short term this is a binary bet for them. Also they are scooping them up as well as shorters closing so where are the shares coming from. Warrant shareholders I guess. One would like to understand their rationale as the golden rule of trading is don't get into a position you can't get out of. This along with Debbie's buys is giving an indication there is value here yet the share price is going in the opposite direction against a fairly bullish ftse over the last few week. GLANot for widows or orphans this one.

"given the influence of Tom on the investing community"

Since the days of "Show me the Money!" and pizza parlours, I would have thought his influence on "the investing community" was entirely contrarian!

I think you will find that Shareprophets have issued an article saying that the FCA are barking up the wrong tree. I disagree. I reiterate that i think that the Jan trading RNS was about the most racy and stupid RNS ever announced by a troubled company.

Fellow investors, I’ve been away and posting a bit on LSE. I keep my position, short term it will be ups and downs with high volatility and medium term it will be 200p. Good luck.

For information

Interserve MD: 42-day payment change driven by rivals. Interserve Construction managing director Gordon Kew said the firm extended its payment terms last year because its competitors had done the same.

I can't read the full article.

After the negative last week, any views on this week. One would expect a quite few weeks from now until AGM however I though that last week and then the downgrade and the FCA ....

deals, disposals and then merger = share price way north of 150p
Gov't now realises that screwing suppliers does no one any good and can put suppliers out of business. Forcing 2% margins are therefore over. Interserve need to lobby cabinet office to realise they need strong profitable suppliers and therefore 5-10% margins are needed.

"This is just tick in the box compliance. Its in the past. The company didn't benefit. If there is a future today is the low"

TODAY is NOT the low, I have this going to 60p very shortly and I am short on 64,000 shares

I don't actually think you're angling for a cheaper buy in either. Maybe you simply enjoy putting together reams and reams of negative comments about a stock you apparently are not invested in just because you are that sort of person.

I really hope you are short here fenners. Or you are just wasting an awful lot of your time being on here trying to rubbish this company.

In the sea of issues that this company has to deal with this FCA investigation is of no consequence"

If you are of the opinion that this announcement today also effected the share price yesterday (not saying I am ) - then the share price has moved - fallen 14% in response to this "no consequence" event.

I am sure a lot of shareholders are feeling the consequences now.

But if you read back through dealys comments on CLLN and MTC there were never any issues of consequence - he was so in denial , hence the "comical Ali " line. If you are too young to remember Comical Ali - look up his quotes on google....

Well I think they deserve this. I’ve only watched recently, but their January Trading update RNS was the most ridiculous RNS I think I have ever seen. Not surprised that earlier announcements were equally as poor. They could be exposed to a class action if it goes the wrong way I suppose. I still believe that the equity value here is negligible and reality will sink in sooner than later. Massive rights issue is definitely needed.
