hxxp://www.constructionenquirer.com/2018/05/03/interserve-efw-partner-secures-survival-funding/

Excellent news.

B&W’s European process engineering subsidiary B&W Volund is jointly and severally liable for the trio of energy from waste contracts at Dunbar, Margam and Rotherham.

For each plant the JV partners have an agreement where engineering process risk rests with BWV and civil engineering risk with Interserve.

In the advent of insolvency this would pass to the other partner on the projects which are still to become operational.

Yesterday the US firm raised $248m in a rights offering that nearly quadrupled the outstanding shares and left a Florida-based hedge fund owning 28.8% of the company’s stock.

The cash injection lifts the threat of insolvency allowing the projects to be completed this year.

All IMHO DYORI am not good at all at charting, however appears to me that since mid march we have been doing higher highs and higher lows?If this pattern is to continue we would need to bottom out around these levels?I suspect that we are in the zone of PI who were expecting a quick win and have been disappointed have been selling. The last 1/2 hour (probably actually 20 minutes) of todays trade was a huge fall on what looks like not much volume?

cfc1 ..

"I still think there will be a big merger in this sector and within the next 12 mnths.
imagine a Serco / Interserve or G4S/Interserve merger ?"

Sector is clearly overdue consolidation, so takeovers etc almost inevitable. But don't assume IRV necessarily a beneficiary, or that parties all UK players.

I'll put it this way cfc. One would be very foolish to ignore director buying. They more than anybody know where the company is going long term.

It changes things quite alot for me. Ideally I'd like to see higher values invested by the directors so we'll see.

cc2014...so your buying now? Big deal will move the share price and gov't taking brakes off overdue tenders...but they take months to close....

Maybe hedge funds also starting to agree with Liberum Capital,Peel Hunt etc etc. All them brokers just re-iterated Buys since 2017 results announced with TP's up to 180p.

I would agree with Eodfire there. Also just noticed that the most recent update on short positions shows a reduction to 5.1% - the lowest level of short positions since October 2017 and a reduction of 4.1% compared to the January 2018 peak. Maybe hedge funds are starting to agree with CEO, CFO and lenders.

Maybe she's not worried about the price she paid on Monday. I'm sure she's very confident in where the share price is headed.

All IMHO DYORHas anybody else noticed the price that Debbie appears to have paid per share. She must have bought first thing on Monday as any time after first thing she would have got a much better price?
