I disagree ih. You will observe from the share price graph from recent lows that a clear positive pattern is emerging with higher lows and peaks. In addition legacy issues are being addressed, and fears of bankruptcy or shareholders wiped out through D4E have evaporated much to the chagrin of selfish Shorters. I invite you to WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! LOL

aendjo you keep posting your summary of "bull points" then add are you missing something - yes , all the bear points.

They could be repeated too .....

Without the accounts we cannot see if the business has continued to decline - and before you remind me of the bullish RNS about trading ahead of market expectations - that was before they got to discuss financing .

Not only that , but it would not be the first company to change its mind - look up the recent debacle at Conviviality !

This is defo undervalued Aendjo. BerenBerks have TP of 95 for an upside of 20%ish. I prefer Liberum's TP LOL!!! Large upwards correction needed now to maintain recent rising momentum. Positive RNS In the morning would set it up nicely for Easter hols and continue the HIGHER LOWS AND PEAKS. GLA Holders!

Market valuation of the company over the past year: 52 week high 330p; recent high 123 p following January update. Today: sub 78p.

Based on RNS:
Efw: expected to be within provision;
Bankruptcy: averted, 20% dilution; 50m interest and principal to be reduced by selling non-core assets, no need to sell RMDK; accounts audited between Jan/Feb and March 2018 by Deloitte, PWC and EY (hired by independent entities, government and lenders) outcome: credit facility extended;
Results: 2017 in line with guidance c70m; 2018 ahead of market expectations;
Broader outlook: n 1 competitor out of business; n 1 client (government) stating that margins need to increase - already mobilized funds for offender rehabilitation and construction; Middle East outlook improved;

I might be missing something here, but Mr Market is selling this one cheap in my opinion. I have not timed it perfectly clearly but personally I’m not leveraged so I can wait this one out...

Value investing is an investment strategy where stocks are selected that trade for less than their intrinsic values. Value investors actively seek stocks they believe the market has undervalued. Investors who use this strategy believe the market overreacts to good and bad news, resulting in stock price movements that do not correspond with a company's long-term fundamentals, giving an opportunity to profit when the price is deflated.

Sorry, don't think it's that simple bumpa. That angle would seem strange to me considering the share price was priced for insolvency, and now all that uncertainty has gone for the medium term. Yes, investors with low avg will be taking profit, some will have had enough and wanted out - true. Imo we are seeing short trading pressure as rns is possibly still a few weeks away. Possibly long stop losses getting triggers also.

Southernman, take a quick read of "risks of short selling" at www.investopedia.com before you open an account.

Southernman - there's not much to think about with shorting. Just open an account and hit the sell button. I

Prices go up, prices go down - you just want to be on the right side of it.

For example after doing all my research on IRV I've decided the future doesn't look great. I wanted to short it and I think it's a short around 100p. I wanted some headroom in case my maths is wrong or Debbie pulls another rabbit out of the hat, so I decided my entry point would be 120p where it's been to twice and failed.

Regrettably the ramping after the refinancing wasn't of sufficient quality and it hasn't gone back there ;-) I hope it does and if it does I'll re-appraise the facts when it gets there. In the meantime my interest has waned. 80p is too low to short and I don't think it's a buy.

Aendjo, I somewhat agree BUT, although low volume today, yesterday was not low volume and look what happened. I suspect and gambled via a short trade that the price trend is my friend and will wait to hopefully 75p, but I did put a stop in at 84.5p, just in case!

Volatility is extreme. I suspect mostly retail investors 78.5-88.3 range on a tiny 1M volume. I wouldn’t read much into the price at which shares have changed hands today. I think institutional investors are waiting confirmation of refinancing details and results. I used today as a buying opportunity. It will be a long
April.

Thanks for update.
I've never shorted but am becoming inquisitive about the idea and process.
Any suggested background reading suggestions, anyone?

"JUST ABOUT ready to close my short and buy in... a few pennies to go."
"SADLY didnt buy at the price as drifting lower, will wait now, 75p perhaps?"

Just curious ... Did you end up closing the short or still riding it for now?
