Not sure how holding a reducing stake in Norwegian actually helps though ?

The major shareholder and owner of Norwegian is 73 years old, Walsh just waiting for the guy to retire and sell up. No rush boys.

Brent crude (Oil) is down at $72 a barrel.

There's a good argument not to hedge, many airlines have lost massive amounts of money due to hedging, therefore many airlines don't do it, the likes of American Airlines do not hedge.

I think Norwegian are right not to hedge.

With regards to IAG, I'd imagine that as a group we employ our own market analysts who are experts in their field.

Maybe they'll go back to Nor. They can't be doing the well with oil at $80 odd and next to no hedging. If it's a decent price then I can see it happening.

IAG too big to be taken out Monty. They take others out lol. Merger (like the Iberia one) maybe. Decent Middle East/Asian airline will do. Hopefully the Xmas rally next month will be decent and IAG will make new highs. After div shares have been repurchased of course lol.

Yes disappointing, great rns yesterday. Daily Mail saying Qatar have 21% of IAG, I never knew that. Perhaps one day they could merge or bid. 850p would do it for me. Perhaps market thinks we will bid for Norwegian, Walsh would never ever pay to much.

Today's price movement is disappointing....yet TCG is up by nearly 20% in two days, a company that has some serious headwinds to contend with, some might argue a basket case, however trades at a higher multiple.
