Just crazy the share price action here, the silver lining is the fact that Aer linguistic and Iberia are constituent parts within this alliance, however BA. clearly going to suffer, the sooner we invoke Article 50 the sooner the new agreements can be determined, I really do not think the public thought through the referendum implications, it is quite staggering the ignorance of people particularly the Welsh and Northerners, why Nissan would wish to re-invest in its Sunderland now would deeply surprise me!

Both sides would likely move quickly, though, to a more liberal deal, he said, which would preserve existing services and pacts such as those between American Airlines Group Inc. and British Airways, and Delta Air Lines Inc. and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd.

RESPONSE TO UK REFERENDUM RESULT ON EUROPEAN UNION MEMBERSHIP

International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A. (IAG) believes that the vote to leave the European Union will not have a long term material impact on its business. In the short term, however, in the run up to the UK referendum during June, IAG experienced a weaker than expected trading environment. Following the outcome of the referendum, and given current market volatility, while IAG continues to expect a significant increase in operating profit this year, it no longer expects to generate an absolute operating profit increase similar to 2015.

The valuation of this stock is simply crazy, it has to be one of the most profitable airlines in the world, even if global economies are stagnant at best, Brexit or not, the price here does not reflect the immense work done Willie Walsh in integrating Iberia into the alliance, and the likelihood of further deals with a Pan-Asian airline down the road! Sure he has already flagged a slowdown in traffic in the run up to this historic vote, however whatever the outcome it should still be noted that Britain is open for business, however the caveat is the fall in in sterling should the country vote out, how that affects the bottom line is possibly yet to be realised, and the repercussions for premium rate growth!
