Back from week away, looks like I missed a rollercoaster few days. Looking around cant see any easy trades, but when I do I have a feeling that the opportunities will be shorts rather than longs. Still seems to be a feeling that there is still a great deal more downside to come...........

Since I started making money with CMC spreadbet they are taking an age to confirm my trades, with more and more re-quotes. When I first had the account the confirmation was instantaneous with no re-quotes.

re:msy..i remember i was short last summer when they released a statement, which the city thought was so great, i didn't have time to close my position until i had lost loads..

Heard that. Although living in Shropshire I'm from Lancs originally and have family still living there, apparently in some places they had a normal months rain in 45 minutes with flash floods galore.
