Lom - people forget that you can have a great business, but that it in no way justifies a shareprice. Look at EGS, going bust (soon I hope) yet a strongly profitable UK arm. Or NTL, brilliant, but shareholders got virtually nothing from restructuring.

Morning all - still trading but thought I'd pop in and give you all a warning about using IG grrrrrrrrrr. Fortunately I use others mostly but IG were the only one who would take a reasonably large position on a daily KWL long. (good punt by the way - market cap now = cash after ERP sale so business in for nowt - should get back to 30p pretty quick).

Anyway point is IG's software is totally screwed up on any daily long position spread bet which is rolled. They only work to 2 decimal places so in my case I was being charged over £20 per day to roll but as they charge 3.5% above bank daily rate it should be about 8% but that £20+ is equivalent to more like 18%!!!!

Moral is this - if you daily spread bet with IG on any penny shares then watch those interest charges overnight as they are way too high. By the way same happens with in/out charges so instead of 0.25% it is actually much higher on penny shares. E.G. if you open a long at 26p then it should cost 26.0065 but because of rounding it comes in at 26.01 and that is actually 0.38%. They say they are going to fix it but I am amazed no one else has ever picked this up.

Bet they don't credit back everyone else's account.

London sold the mark up b4 it even appeared! But I do think this little rally could have further to go. A short term bottom has been found and we now r looking for failure above.
