12/10/2009 10:49 | court case cant be bothering verisign or kuwait gov too much as they now proceed with this project! | ![]() pyman
12/10/2009 09:40 | yep, well done igoe. Anyone of you experts willing to have a stab at what a contract like Kuwait, would be worth ? | ![]() arthurly
12/10/2009 08:45 | 2.88m people in this contract. that has to be worth a pretty penny??? If IGP can pick up a few more of these, especially in that region, things could be looking up....Is this factored into the price? Like the guy said from the AGM, once the legal case is cleared we could be on for a re-rating? | ![]() 237gmoney
12/10/2009 07:51 | Likewise. Well spotted igoe. | ![]() wjccghcc
12/10/2009 07:36 | Yep, makes nice reading and thanks to igoe for flagging a few days early. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
09/10/2009 11:57 | LASTEST NEWS. Partner verisign involved in the kuwait 3 million national id card project. (Taken from the link.) (VeriSign is providing the PKI solution through VeriSign's (partner ) mmmmmm Taken from the last trading statement. In particular our entry into the national identity market is proving to be particularly rewarding while our partnerships with Lockheed Martin, Thales and VeriSign are making continuing and growing contributions to operating profit." | ![]() igoe104
09/10/2009 11:46 | AS pyman has already pointed out the TWIC project has gone past 1.3 mark and has a short term target of 1.5 million. anything above 1.2 million means igp will get a much better return for each card issued. this will be a ongoing contract and ive heard it will evenually involve up to 6 million folks over time. | ![]() igoe104

08/10/2009 21:24 | A gracious correction, many thanks. | jm barrie100
08/10/2009 19:47 | Ooops!! Thank you for correcting me there JM Barrie100. For some reason I had it in my head that Charles Cunningham was there. I think I know what I've done. Cunningham's name is on the RNS for the result of the AGM: I must have assumed the Nomad attended. Obviously not! I do apologise everyone. | ![]() accumulat0r
08/10/2009 18:08 | Charles Cunningham did not attend the AGM. | jm barrie100
08/10/2009 17:51 | The BUY note from Hoodless with a target of 56p is worth diddly-squat. No one's going to buy a share, if Hoodless's target offers just 20% upside! And when's it supposed to reach 56p; next Tuesday? If it wasn't for the patent infringement case, IGP would be at around 200p in the current market. KBC Peel Hunt's Andrew Darley used to cover Intercede. Then he moved to FinnCap. Then when Intercede changed brokers from KBC to FinnCap, I assumed Darley would be continuing to cover IGP. But that does not appear to be the case. The AGM was attended by FinnCap's Charles Cunningham. And I see the trading update was sent to Cunningham. So we appear to have lost the continuity we had with Darley for so many years. We need a broker's update from FinnCap. But I suspect Cunningham is just going to leave his Intercede file at the bottom of his In-Tray and do nothing until the patent infringement case is all resolved. | ![]() accumulat0r
08/10/2009 16:53 | Spooky Could be the MM is tracking around to find the seller. If there really is one! | ![]() aphrodites
08/10/2009 15:39 | There is a seller around if anyone wants to pick up a few shares mid market, that would appear to disagree with the post above but that's life.. | ![]() spooky
08/10/2009 15:26 | My broker has just approached me to enquire if I was interested to sell 25k of shares. The offer price had just been ticked down to 46p. And guess what? He only wanted to pay 43p! I told him to tell the MM to get the price up to 50p to reflect yesterday's announcement and then I might think about offering him a few shares. What a pity that we can only get a BUY note out from Hoodless! That puts a dampener on the price straight away. | ![]() aphrodites

08/10/2009 00:44 | Good stuff interceptor. Latest broker note. | ![]() igoe104
07/10/2009 20:39 | I have looked at the figures and have worked out likely earning for the next Interims using the 40% increase in revenue which would make £2.773m allowing for a modest increase in Admin charges of 17% and adding finance income leaves PBIT of £0.830m and EPS of 2.24p. Remember that the figure may be higher if they receive any Tax credits (not sure) but they wont pay any tax for a while, they still have £3.5m of unused tax losses. I beleive for the full year IGP should comfortably expect EPS of at least 4.7p, but wouldn't be surprised if they reported significantely higher. Finncap only forecast 3.3p for the year, which seems very conservative. All these figures would be adjusted for exceptionals relating to court case cost, which I have no idea of knowing. | ![]() interceptor2
07/10/2009 17:09 | It's interesting that one year back the IGP trading statement said that sales were 25% ahead, and now they are 40% ahead in same period. Would expect a updated broker note soon, will look at figures tonight and tomorrow and try to work out possible earnings without exceptionals. | ![]() interceptor2
07/10/2009 16:36 | do you think judge was after just a bit more fact to prove patent is unforceable? I d have thought origional filing would have been fairly well put together.Hoping that means he thinks there may well be a case for uninforceability- or he d have given a staright 'no'. IGP refiled pretty smartly . | ![]() pyman |
