17/10/2008 15:26 | whoa ! why would someone be so keen to get rid of 10k at 18p ? Obviously no market for them as the price has dropped like a stone. Wish we had more news about the patent action to calm things down. Just as the company was taking off :-( Maybe a takeover from a larger company with deeper pockets to fight whatever happens would be the best way forward for the company ? Problem is that i suspect it is not possible for anyone who either uses or licenses IGP technology to buy them as that may cause problems with other licencees. | ![]() fft
17/10/2008 15:24 | The world has gone mad. You would only need a fraction of the bonus paid to a failed bank CEO to buy this company outright. | ![]() k1ng_rob
14/10/2008 11:52 | Well IGP signed a deal with RSA which covers the 1st 1mm cards I think - that deal ran out in September but no announcement was made so I dont know what the story is there.... To cut a long story short Lockheed martin signed a $1m deal with IGP to sweeten the fact they have made nearly $50m so far - RSA get most of it and IGP will get very little but then there is the licence revenue to come and also the fact there could be upto 6mm cards issued if they start getting everyone who uses a ferry port a card... The IGP will get many times more than they currently get.... | ![]() 237gmoney
14/10/2008 11:23 | ... and what % of that drops through to IGP? | ![]() boadicea
14/10/2008 10:37 | Current TWIC stats: Total # Pre-Enrolled: 580,033 Total # Enrolled: 549,454 Total # Cards Issued: 366,329 If 366,329 cards have already been issued at $132.50 a go thats $48,538,592. | ![]() 237gmoney
09/10/2008 13:02 | We need to get the relevant patent in perspective. How important is it to on going business and what is downside if A1 claim is upheld? | ![]() pyman
09/10/2008 10:31 | i have no worries about the full year results..these will be profitable. My only concern is the AI patent saga. As long as current projects are not affected and any ongoing projects for the future because of this filing. After being patented and has been integrated with other products, i think IF and a big IF there was any concern, they have left too late to complain about it now. | ![]() jailbird
09/10/2008 09:34 | Yes- if cash generation continues you are right. Its important for managment to get to May with enough cash to repay loans.Hopefully they wont need to. | ![]() pyman
08/10/2008 17:05 | even if two million shares convert it only takes us up to 40mm shares and with the year end trading statement at a minimum to come in April next year before the May deadline...the share price should easily be north of current share price if their is a full year profit to report.... | ![]() 237gmoney
08/10/2008 16:41 | Although with 1.84mm cash, no other debt, and H1 cash generation of 686k (386k if you strip out the lockheed payment) likely to continue into H2, they could probably repay the full amount if needed. 1.4mm of the convertibles convert at 20p and the other 0.6mm at 15p. | ![]() wjccghcc
08/10/2008 16:32 | the loan notes due 31 may next year=. £2m liability. Just struck me that the loan note holders hold the future in their hands. If they choose to cash in they can force the co into a trade sale. The stock is so illiquid it may be a course of action for them as the one moment in time where they have sway over the co. Otherwise they become impotant shareholders with little ability to sell. What did we reckon the dilution would be - 15% ? So in some respects the short term looks interesting. The managment need to be busting a gut to get the shareprice north of here or they ll get sold.Iether way there s upside over the next 6 months. | ![]() pyman
08/10/2008 13:12 | You spoke to early tanners...the only way this share price will rise now is to dispell the AI claim and announce a FY profit....or a UKID card contract. | ![]() 237gmoney
08/10/2008 09:22 | Not going down on a day like this, is like a 20% rise, in real terms. | tanners3

07/10/2008 15:16 | Looks like belize are having a uk id card system. In what is seen as a trial balloon, the Government of Belize is making a move to introduce a forced National I.D. system as part of new Anti Crime legislation being promoted by the U.S.A. and the British Governments. | ![]() igoe104

06/10/2008 15:16 | Today's news in hindsight was a blessing in disguse. what might of happened if there wasnt a positive trading update and the AI stuff wasnt reported on with the ftse down almost 6%....IGP is one of the best performing stocks of the day and the drop on friday was over done....At least I have one share in the blue!!! | ![]() 237gmoney
06/10/2008 15:06 | picked up 5k at 24.39 when the quoted price was 24-25. now dropped to 23-25. Dont know if that means there is a sell waiting to be filled or the MM's are just not interested. It is days like this, that, if you get the right stock can bring great rewards. conversely, getting it wrong on days like this can cause you big problems very quickly. However, cash in the bank and a growing order book / turnover can only be good. | ![]() fft
06/10/2008 14:39 | ITS A Good response by the company reguarding the activldentity situation. if this was the same markets as of a couple of years ago this share would be over £1 now, but at the moment AIM shares are out of fashion, but things will change. | ![]() igoe104
06/10/2008 11:21 | great figures. just to point out that IGP only booked 46K to profit but they have obviouly received all the the $500K cash and is part of the reason for the increase in cash position. Otherwise very exciting and a shame it came out today | ![]() julianc35
06/10/2008 11:05 | In normal market conditions this would probably have been up 50% or so today. 90% underlying growth yr on yr, is amazing for any company, but with IGP the growth rate is rapidly growing and growing so it will continue to grow at pace in H2 and again in 2009. Thats why it will be even harder for IGP to stay independant in 2009....I'd be happy with £1 a share for a quick profit in early 2009 even though I could get much more if I would stick around for a few years.... | ![]() 237gmoney
06/10/2008 10:03 | In any normal market, the reaction to todays stunning trading statement would be far more pronounced. For me, the company is even better value than last week despite the rise today as the level of future growth is going to be far higher than I had previously guessed and the news that cash is increasing takes a big risk out of equation. I made a modest addition to my holding this morning. Well done IGP. | ![]() daz
06/10/2008 09:44 | 237g, believe me I'm very happy to have underestimated them! I thought the step change would happen in H2 but clearly I was wrong :-) | ![]() wjccghcc
06/10/2008 09:37 | Brilliant trading news and a robust, in fact provocative, defence of their ip position. Couldn't ask for more. PS: AI action now listed - | ![]() boadicea
06/10/2008 09:15 | WJ it seemed you underestimated the management team - 686k cash in H1?!?!?!? and best of all a profit. With only $46,000 of the $500,000 banked in H1 the full year looks to make very good reading. I am happy that the trading update gave all the financials, just disappointed there was no news on any of the projects they are working on??? Hopefully another Thales contract to come before the year is out and Im not worried about the AI stuff at it seems it is an act of desperation on their part. As in any economic downturn, companies look to make insurance claims to back up falling sales. AI have probably looked to claim on anything and thought they would give this ago. It will backfire. Thank you Mr Parris....keep the good news coming....we still have the loan note holders to sort out in May. | ![]() 237gmoney |
