09/7/2010 23:20 | Yes, a new decent broker would be nice, a broker that actually does something.... I've not seen anything so far that they have done for IGP (correct me if wrong). This statement says it all really, so are IGP paying for this service and receiving it? Perhaps I should ask them what IGP get for their money? CB | iicb
07/7/2010 18:28 | ah: and I got all excited... | pyman
07/7/2010 13:54 | pyman, As per RNS above just a change of name for existing broker. Many others have put out a similar announcement. | devymaster
07/7/2010 12:48 | change of broker finncap now | pyman
28/6/2010 01:04 | That Indian ID card scheme would be a great project for IGP & partners. Something to lift the share price significantly perhaps? iiCB | iicb
27/6/2010 09:11 | This is worth a read. | igoe104
26/6/2010 14:54 | Davidosh, Actividentity brought the patent infringement case against Intercede, it would seem, out of jealousy of Intercede's achievements. They caused Intercede a lot of agro and expense (ie: 1.4m to settle the patent infringement case on top of all the other work fighting the case, distracting them from their usual business, etc.) I don't follow Actividentity either - so know very little about them. But you can get a summary here: I only posted the charts because as far as I'm concerned, they are the enemy. So it's nice to see their share price getting wacked. What goes around, comes around .... ;o) There's even talk just now of Actividentity being a "complete scam" over on the Yahoo Forum: | accumulat0r
26/6/2010 13:22 | What are the comparable figures for Actividentity for Mkt cap, turnover and profitability as I have not followed them ? | davidosh
25/6/2010 21:37 | I see Actividentity's starting to go down very nicely now: free stock charts from www.advfn.com with someone dumping 2,373,043 shares in one trade today at $1.98. Most encouraging, I must say! LOL! ;o) free stock charts from www.advfn.com | accumulat0r
25/6/2010 14:59 | Thanks for the summaries all. iiCB | iicb
25/6/2010 10:49 | Devy im aware of the usa situation, but the uk court we would have taken them to the cleaners and more than got our fees back. anyway its water under the bridge now, the company must focus on winning more contracts. PS TENDERS are being put in for companies to be involved in the indian id data-base which will hold 1.2 billion indians. i would like to think igp will be knocking at the door in some way or another. i suppose it comes down to how secure they want it. | igoe104
25/6/2010 09:40 | Thanks devymaster and davidosh. I've also found management to be impressive and very committed. | wjccghcc
25/6/2010 09:31 | I think Oscillator on TMF (not sure if he has a posting name here!) may be doing a detailed write up on the PP thread as he has a significant long term holding and will no doubt be well placed to cover some of the points that were raised. He also had a very long time chatting with the directors in the bar pre presentation so may know even more that will help to clarify on the legal case !! The directors were very impressive in how they not only answered the questions but showed their clear passion for the business. They were both involved from the very early stages including the Andrew Walker the FD who seemed a very steady hand to have alongside Richard Parris. I had not realised how significant the NHS work was for example and the company does have good recurring revenues now. | davidosh
25/6/2010 09:16 | thanks for the feedback guys. as a shareholder i shd really try to go. family kids work just make impossible. | jailbird
25/6/2010 08:59 | igoe104 I attended the presentation the other evening and was very impressed. Impresses enough to take a position which I've only done once before from these presentations. My understanding is that they settled the dispute rather than progress it is because under US law, even if they had won, they would not have been able to reclaim their legal costs. Hence it was cheaper to settle, since to continue would have cost more in terms of both financial costs and management time taken up with litigation rather than growing the company. Additionally it also means that there is no uncertainty over the situation. It has been brought to a close. As I say, was very impressed with them. Fully expect them to be taken out at some point in the future by probably an (American) tecnology company. Devymaster | devymaster
25/6/2010 08:45 | IGP were picking up more contracts when they were involved in the legal case than they have since its been settled, felix. its frustrating really because we have let activ bully us and get away with, i get the feeling activ knew it would hurt us more than it would hurt themself regarding fees. me myself would have taken it the full distance, i sure we would have won the case and got our fee money back eventually, it wasnt harming business like ive said, we had more RNS when we were doing battle with activ, then have recently anyway. plus the share price was better. Come on guys its time to annouce some positive rns and put some life back it this share, we were pulling them out every-month at the turn of the year, we seem to have gone back-wards over the last few months. | igoe104
25/6/2010 02:04 | thanks for that felix appreciated. | outsider
24/6/2010 09:26 | I heard it all went well and they were impressed with mgt. They said legal case was best settled due to legal fees but don;t think they managed to find out much about any royalty situation. I suspect the legal case would have scared a lot of potential deals and customers off so suspect they settled for that reason alone. I assume the fools will be posting a write up - or perhaps they are waiting to stock up before posting any summary :-). Not seen trades lately so I am probably completely off base. Happy to hold. My longest ever shareholding this one I think - must be 2 or 3 years . A week is often a long term hold for me ! | felix99
24/6/2010 08:58 | Is there any feedback from the meeting held a few nights back to share......anyone? | outsider
21/6/2010 20:39 | Sorry davidosh - was going to make it but ill baby intervened. Look forward to hearing the feedback. | wjccghcc
21/6/2010 19:23 | Davidosh - I replied to you via email (TMF). Appreciate your invitation. Extremely thoughtful. Kind regard GHF | glasshalfull
21/6/2010 19:17 | David, sadly I've just returned from Las Vegas, so can't attend the event this evening, though I would have very much liked too. I would appreciate hearing anything of interest from our men in charge. Regards, iiCB | iicb
21/6/2010 16:07 | davidosh, thanks for the invitation but can't get out of other commitments tonight. However, I will be very interested to hear what folks make of the IGP duo and how they present the company's prospects etc. | rambutan2 |
