16/9/2016 13:22 | Simple imo...take two carbon electrodes and harvest the gas from the positive terminal...there are other far more efficient ways that I could mention but this is the simplest. Remember that an H2SO4 battery emits hydrogen whilst being charged. Try Youtube there are some examples of the so called cold fusion method---it is just a rock crystal oscillated at about 45Khz to excite the hydrogen electrons to create heat and then hydrogen gas. However nanotube tech using graphite anodes is going to be the most efficient and cost effective method. The simple method was developed by Samual Fox in about 1888; he managed to use hydrogen to light up a Northern towns street lighting. The gas then was opposed by coal producers who manufactured coal gas. However by the 1920's coal gas was mixed with hydrogen to make it burn hotter and brighter. Fox is more famous for creating the Royal College of Arts in London. So try to look up his personal history...an incredible man. | ibug

16/9/2016 13:06 | YET ANOTHER HFC CAR RELEASED TODAY --- HOT NEWS FROM HONDA. The Ride: A spin the Honda's new fuel cell-powered sedan by Take Two September 16, 01:51 AM The 2017 Honda Clarity is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and has a range of over 300 miles. AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO., INC. An electric car that has a 300 mile range, and never needs to be charged? Later this year, Honda will begin selling its new generation Clarity. It's a roomy, well-appointed four-door sedan with a difference. Its electric motor is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. Our motor critic and host of The Ride, Sue Carpenter, took a spin in a pre-production model, and found it to be appealing in both looks and performance. Honda says the Clarity will sell for less than $60,000 and lease for about $500 a month, which sets it up squarely against Toyota's fuel cell car, the Mirai. Both cars have an advantage over battery powered electrics. Rather than waiting for the batteries to charge, fuel cell vehicles are filled with hydrogen in an operation that's familiar and takes about the same amount of time as a gas fill-up does. | ibug
16/9/2016 12:53 | AFTER THIS WEEKS INCREDIBLE RISE news may arrive next week showing a coherent plan that drives the business into profitability as a global enterprise in the trillion dollar Hydrogen sector that has just started to develop on the global stage backed by major corporations and big governments. 16/9/2016 10:18 | Growing infrastructure support is making fuel cell vehicles more popular According to the report, enough hydrogen stations will be available to the public to effectively support fuel cell vehicles by 2020. The initial launch of these fueling stations will add momentum to the adoption of vehicles equipped with hydrogen fuel cells. Much of the world lacks a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure, but popular transportation markets are investing more heavily in building hydrogen stations in order to prepare for the eventual, widespread launch of new vehicles. These efforts are increasing due to the growing demand for clean vehicles among consumers. | ibug

16/9/2016 09:19 | Yes excellent development regarding Apple phones that will probably be introduced by Apple next year. But that article was misleading; the funding provided by four car manufacturers to produce an HFC focused on transport has been completed and is now due to become commercialized. And the same scenario applies to the collaboration between IEH and Scottish Power to develop a mass storage/ H2 generator. So there is a bigger picture and many more commercial developments in the offering imo. And add to that mix the company now has a new CEO steering the company to become a profitable business. Roll on next weeks news release to clarify and confirm the business direction. | ibug

16/9/2016 08:42 | Great Telegraph article! Thanks Physco!Intelligent Energy will now focus on its two remaining hydrogen fuel cell markets, which it says offer a better chance of returns in the short term. Its distributed power unit provides portable generators for mobile masts in India to back up the country's unreliable electricity grid.Meanwhile it also continues to develop tiny fuel cells to replace batteries in smartphones. It is understood to have held detailed discussions with Apple and built a working prototype of an iPhone that can run for a week on a single fuel cartridge. Last year executives said the technology was two years away from launch.Intelligent Energy's valuation has crashed 85pc to £20.6m this year as its finances have come under pressure, with the shares now trading around 11p. The company made its debut on the stock exchange nearly two years ago on a valuation of £639m. | h2owater

16/9/2016 08:14 | Hydrogen car-maker Riversimple awarded grants worth £325,000 author Added by FuelCellsWorks, September 15, 2016 Hydrogen car-maker Riversimple awarded grants worth £325,000 – development of flax bio-carbon and potential for 7,000 new jobs Riversimple – makers of the Rasa, a car that emits just a spoonful of water – has been awarded two grants worth £350,000, which could lead to the creation of 7,000 jobs in the UK. The grants were announced yesterday (Wednesday, September 14) at the UK’s premiere low carbon vehicle event, LCV2016, in association with Cenex, held at Millbrook, Milton Keynes. A grant of £200,000, to work in collaboration with engineering company Presreg and the University of South Wales, will be used to develop a hydrogen container manifold and regulators for use in niche hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This means that hydrogen components can be made in the UK – rather than overseas, helping to create jobs and set up a national supply chain. The innovative car marker is also part of a consortium with NetComposites and KS Composites that has been awarded funding worth £125,000 to develop a bio-carbon fibre made from flax, helping to reduce noise vibration and cost. If adopted by niche and mainstream car makers this new technology could lead to the creation of 7,000 jobs and generate revenues of £520 million a year. | ibug

15/9/2016 18:02 | Utilities are hoping to get a decentralized virtual power plant that could mitigate the effects of power outages, particularly after disasters. In homes, fuel cells could efficiently generate heat and energy without causing harmful emissions. Car makers like Toyota (NYSE:TM), equipment suppliers like Panasonic (OTCPK:PCRFF), and industrial groups like Toshiba (OTCPK:TOSBF) are all pushing forward to make hydrogen a success. Industry, government and society appear to be working hand in hand for the common goal of a cleaner energy supply chain. While preparations for Tokyo 2020 are intensifying, I expect bold initiatives to materialize already next year. In March 2017, the industry meets at the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo held at Tokyo Big Sight. This is where the latest technologies and applications are presented and new major projects get launched. | ibug
