Meganxmas, yes, it was from a while ago ... I meant new as far as this BB was concerned and to me .... I knew Winand had SAID he wanted IEH to do in Africa what it was doing in India but had no idea they had actually started a co-operation ..... I still keep discovering new things about IEH and I have no idea which of IEHs finger in which pie is making this bubble ... or if it's a takeover or just a huge seller running out of shares to dump .... I'm also amazed there's been ABSOLUTE SILENCE from investment commentators over the weekend .... and did any of them predict IEH's friday rise?

"ARPU (average revenue per user) may well be what makes mobile phone networks want IEH's gear."

This isn't new. It's from 2012 / 2013 but it has enlightened me .... we are so used to having stable power supplies we forget what life is like for many people in developing countries. The idea behind the Upp personal HFC was that MOBILE PHONE COMPANIES could make more money as their customers used their phones more. If a telecom tower is off-grid, so may many of the customers using that tower so for someone living off-grid, an IEH Upp can power their phone for ages rather than them having to ration phone use between charges. We're all surrounded by mains sockets but billions on this planet are not. I'm not sure the Upp is dead. They're for sale on ebay and there are these

"At the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Intelligent

Energy announced a collaboration with Cable & Wireless Communications, to test consumer electronic devices powered by Intelligent Energy’s PEM fuel cell technology.

Intelligent Energy and Cable & Wireless

Communications – in particular its Sure brand serving Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man – will work together to test personal energy devices powered by Intelligent Energy’s PEM fuel cell technology for various mobile devices across their market sectors. This summer the companies will begin a user trial of an Intelligent Energy portable power device.

The requirement for portable power has grown exponentially, driven by the ever greater power needs of our ‘on-the-go’ electronic devices, such as smartphones. Unfortunately, battery power has not kept pace, and the constant need to maintain battery life has become an area of consumer disappointment.

In response, global mobile operators are keen to find a solution to the battery conundrum, so that they can deliver the best user experience, earn the loyalty of their customers, and increase the average revenue per user (ARPU). ‘Intelligent Energy’s cutting-edge technology offers a solution to power our device off-grid, and provides a much longer operating life than a conventional battery,’ says Sure’s head of mobile, Mike Fawkner Corbett. ‘It’s attractive, as it would unlock real additional revenue opportunities for telecom operators, enabling consumers to stay connected for longer and unshackled by the constraints of battery life.’

Intelligent Energy’s interest in the consumer electronics market is a natural extension of its work in the stationary power sector, where the company offers backup power systems for telecom towers in India [FCB, November 2012, p10].

And in the transport sector, Intelligent

Energy is participating in the UKH2Mobility project to support the introduction of fuel cell electric vehicles and hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in the UK [FCB, February 2013, p1]. IE is also in a joint venture with Suzuki in

Japan to produce fuel cell systems for a range of industry sectors [FCB, February 2012, p3 and see page 8]."

This is new .... I think you need to read this before the markets open ..... never seen this deal before. If IEH start another few "Essential Energy" type companies in Africa ..... India is a big nation .... Africa's a continent.

Friday's rise in share price has got me doing more research than ever to see what I bought 11 months ago. Even though I'm comfortable with my average, I think even I may top up tomorrow. I'm expecting a tree shake so .... we'll see. I knew Henri Winand said he wanted IEH to do their telecom tower routine in Africa but I never knew they were actually getting on with it.

Having said that, a word of caution ... I got burned with LOND and AFPO are hardly pulling up trees ... powering telecoms towers in Africa is one thing, making money out of it might be another .... still, there are some well governed countries in Africa and there is GROWTH there ... and are the streets of the UK paved with growth? Nope!

It is always difficult to second guess how a sector will behave but hydrogen is certainly going to become the largest and most profitable since the discovery and distribution of oil a century or so ago.

If I were to finger a number it would be somewhere 210p + depending on what type of automotive project is awarded to the company. For example Hyundi Motors plan to produce 250,000 cars in 2018 + spare parts and the warranty business.

If IEH got a contract worth that sort of order the share price would be around 1200p...but until something like that becomes firm 200p+ seems more realistic.

But the entire fossil fuel transport industry is where the market lies for Hydrogen fuel cells whether large, massive or micro installations.

I imagine investor BBs and twitter will be awash with ramping and de-ramping tomorrow. There's a lot to be said for spending some time doing your own research between now and the market's open so you're less easily swayed by lies and selective-truths posted tomorrow.

There's always a time when the rest of the world finds a use for new technology. That's the whole idea of R&D and investing in companies that might deliver something better than what we already have.

Google are supposedly into drone deliveries for Chipotle. From

Some FANTASTIC posts this weekend and really food for thought. Shares were trading at £1.50+ only 10 months ago. ...This could do another 200% from here this week and still be undervalued. ...expecting record volume tomorrow ahead of investor presentations in 6 days. ..

Drone news today, Sunday. Hmmmm .. maybe the drone options are the tipping point. FAA has allowed more use of drones!!!What's this market worth and what's the potential for growth?

It would be good for video camera's, camcorders etc. When people are out filming in the middle of nowhere. They gotta charge all the batteries before they go. 👍

A simple fact about hydrogen fuel cell cars is that it only takes 3 mins to recharge and the battery lifespan is measured in decades instead of 3 years for Lithium.

Hence fuel cells are a no brainer for most applications including mass storage of renewable energy, wind, tidal, solar.

With technology getting smarter and powerful it's going to need longer lasting power and this is going to be massive market to get into as people love the phones etc but charging is the key and battery life
