Media alert - UK Hydrogen Week

Published on Mon 13 March, 2017

Loughborough, UK – Monday 13 March

Today marks the beginning of UK Hydrogen Week which aims to raise awareness of the benefits hydrogen and fuel cell technology.

During Hydrogen Week, Dr Chris Dudfield, Chief Technology Officer at Intelligent Energy will be speaking at the 13th International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Conference in Birmingham. At this conference, ‘Hydrogen and Fuel Cells into the Mainstream,’ Dr. Dudfield will be focusing on the commercialisation of fuel cell technology, specifically around applications that are suitable for the distributed energy, diesel replacement, automotive and aerial drone markets.

Later in the week, Intelligent Energy will be also be participating in the ‘Hydrogen: Does it work for you?’ event, which is being held at the Heathrow Academy in association with Hydrogen London and Heathrow Clean Vehicles Partnership. At this event, Intelligent Energy will be demonstrating its fuel cell technology, including a Gen4 system, Fuel Cell Modules (FCM) and lightweight fuel cell stacks. The technology on display showcases IE’s proprietary Air-Cooled (AC) technology which is integrated into a wide range of applications.

Martin Bloom, Group CEO at Intelligent Energy said: “Intelligent Energy is pleased to once again support ‘UK Hydrogen Week’. The energy market is fragmented, offering many opportunities. Hydrogen and fuel cells are now coming to the fore as more companies are willing to adopt and invest in new technologies aimed at reducing their carbon footprint. As reports on poor air quality continue to dominate the news, events like Hydrogen Week provide the perfect platform to raise awareness about new technologies and fuels for a cleaner future.”

I see the dross poster is back....Lol what a small world.

The job vacancy does prove the company are involved in small and medium size production that could be scalled up as stated in their September presentation. So that should be confirmed at the AGM in the next couple of weeks.

The company also earn revenues through their extensive portfolio of patents. It would be useful to know what the value of that actually is.

The IEH FC technology is solid and proven valuable; IEH is not a trading business to need to show immediate profits; the concern I'd have if I were a shareholder would be the hedge fund intention and the cloud it casts . It is in a position to sell IEH over the heads of investors in a deal that will benefit some and not others in equal proportions

There are only two things that matter here , cash , which is quickly going down , and a profitable business , and there is no sign of any decent orders , how are they ever going to make a profit ibug.

I am not, and have nothing to do with, edwardroger, I would certainly not apologise to you. I agree with him about your posts putting off any serious potential investor, hallucinating about the industry which bears little on the outcome of IEH

The rollout for H2 refuelling stations is gathering momentum..Good news for the wider H2 industry.

The Company announces that it has gained full planning permission at four sites comprising Birmingham, Swindon and two sites in Sheffield. Additional sites have been identified in London and around the M25; along the M1 Corridor including Leeds; and along the M40 Corridor including Oxford and along the M4 including Bristol and Cardiff. The plans outlined here have been put in place prior to the UK Government’s Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) announcing further grant incentives for hydrogen vehicles and new refuelling infrastructure.
