During Hydrogen Week, Dr Chris Dudfield, Chief Technology Officer at Intelligent Energy will be speaking at the 13th International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Conference in Birmingham. At this conference, ‘Hydrogen and Fuel Cells into the Mainstream,’ Dr. Dudfield will be focusing on the commercialisation of fuel cell technology, specifically around applications that are suitable for the distributed energy, diesel replacement, automotive and aerial drone markets. Later in the week, Intelligent Energy will be also be participating in the ‘Hydrogen: Does it work for you?’ event, which is being held at the Heathrow Academy in association with Hydrogen London and Heathrow Clean Vehicles Partnership. At this event, Intelligent Energy will be demonstrating its fuel cell technology, including a Gen4 system, Fuel Cell Modules (FCM) and lightweight fuel cell stacks. The job vacancy does prove the company are involved in small and medium size production that could be scalled up as stated in their September presentation. So that should be confirmed at the AGM in the next couple of weeks. The company also earn revenues through their extensive portfolio of patents. The Company announces that it has gained full planning permission at four sites comprising Birmingham, Swindon and two sites in Sheffield. Additional sites have been identified in London and around the M25; along the M1 Corridor including Leeds; and along the M40 Corridor including Oxford and along the M4 including Bristol and Cardiff. The plans outlined here have been put in place prior to the UK Government’s Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) announcing further grant incentives for hydrogen vehicles and new refuelling infrastructure. | ibug | |
