i am a share holder and in the optical trade and from what i hear the company is trading well so i think the share price is dropping through lack of news
if they were taken prive it would be at a premuim to the share price?

Why it should drop to the 40’s is beyond me, but then maybe. Possibly there are more skeletons in the cupboard, Tollerman should take it private. Falls like these are not good for the company, and outside shareholders. Turning into a barge pole, likely little faith in the business.

Wouldn't do any harm to see some directors buying, or perhaps they are waiting for it to drop back into the 40's. Just does not make any sense.

Totterman needs to take it private, simple as that. Last set of results were adequate, no reason for 30% fall. Debt is ok, so no excuse for fall other than nervous nellies. Saying that market rarely wrong, weak holders selling in to a soft market.

Some of these small caps are now over +50% back to where they were just 3 months ago on no real negative newsAnd even then they felt reasonably good value

I worked for Essilor (Luxottica) for 25 years. I can confirm that December is by far the quietest month for Opticians

inspecs are distributer of spec frames and low visual aids not exciting stuff but very profitable if they get the turn over up on the brands they sell and dont get left with
out of date or discontinued lines
they have just had a sale on sunspecs so that hopefully has generated cash but that isnt worthy of reporting
traditionally the run up to xmas is good for opticians

Depends on your small cap.
But if its going nowhere why haven't IR time.to.answer investor queries. If its not a company engaged with its investor base it doesn't auger well 🤷🏼‍♂️

is EYE the issue? it is not performing well, is that translating as an effect on SPEC?
Although they are reporting strong growth in low vision aids revenue in North America is indicative of successful market penetration and product differentiation.
