Last week there was 100% a buyer on the bid side. Confirmed by broker. There’s another huge lump 136k on the bid side today again.

Agree news is required for a sustained rise to be held on to but interesting there has been demand.

How do we know there are large buy orders being worked shrewd?
The RSP changes constantly on every share
Means nowt really. It is what it is at that moment in time
Good news needed to move this or some serious buying
Not a few thou here and there

This is ridiculous, we know there have been large buy orders being worked on the bid side hence why it hasn’t driven the price. At one point Friday there was one mm bidding for nearly 150k. I heard of since I’ve been watching the rsp.

Now a £500 buy moves Shorecap off the offer.

Why don’t they just let it go as all the indicators point to it.

Not withstanding I know we are waiting for news the above is based on what’s going on on the rsp and the trading alone.

Whilst we await concrete details it’s worth noting both carval and AB commitment to esg.

AB have their own proprietary tools
Esight and prism. We’ve been told publicly on the record that AB love INSG’s offering so are their merits for insg’s dataset to be tied into or linked to AB’s existing tools?

Either way putting the delays aside that have probably come from both the takeover and the political unrest in the US on esg, we are tied in to a very large fund here that are obviously happy with what they’ve got and seen.

All it takes imho is another 1 or 2 funds to take the same route of fees as a %age of AuM and the benchmark is set.

INSG income could rise very rapidly very easily if the above scenario falls in to place. I got one would t want to be having to buy in that situation it’s too tightly held.

May have a short wait longer but does feel like we are about to exit the station.

Interesting that CarVal's projected $4.1bn now inpressively represents around 29% of AB's new AUM pipeline, without CarVal's contribution that pipeline would be signifiantly down on the previous quarter rather than up 10% as shown.

So CarVal clearly very important to AB, with real potential for INSG to benefit

One would hope to see something very soon given that Insig delivered their end to CarVal last April. The vagaries of 2022 obviously kinked the product timeframe but there seems little doubt CarVal are now generating plenty of inflows and refer to a strong pipeline of H2 launches.

Thanks for posting that, Noujay, sounds promising, and since they are now quoting actual non-ballpark numbers, presumably imminent, since those will be concrete commitments.

AB earnings call yesterday. Presentation below which is a useful read. CarVal mentioned p8/9 with a healthy pipeline of some $4.1b..https://alliancebernsteinholdinglp.gcs-web.com/static-files/c0f88412-97d9-4a35-b1f5-457f5d91cd5cFrom April update:John Withrow, Principal, High Yield, AB CarVal said: "I'm pleased with how Insig AI's team has worked steadfastly with us over many months to deliver what we believe to be a market-leading product."

Any world event like that turns investment appetite off as you know so it will have had some effect on timings but we seem to have world events every week at the moment.

Banshee - I agree I think it could be like buses. There’s been an overbearing emphasis on esg here but the AI dataset can be utilised for a far more wider capacity as we’ve been told previously. On another note the AB takeover could be a blessing in disguise - they have their own in house esg tools so I wonder if INSG dataset can be added or replace them. A quick read of AB’s website gives an idea of how much emphasis they put on esg.

Not sure myself what Ukraine has to do with the launch of a fund?

It is evident that INSG expected the launch of the CarVal fund 12-18 months ago, a combination of the Ukraine Invasion and, probably more importantly to the delay, the AB takeover of CarVal impacted this timeline. You can debate how much of the delay might have occurred regardless, at least part of it I suspect, but now the takeover is actually putting pressure on CarVal to launch, which I expect to see in the near future, and I don't think that is all we we can expect soon.

I think everyone here agrees the newsflow to date has been poor. Aim is a news driven market and nobody is aware of that more than rb.

All I would say is each day we must get closer to the newsflow starting in earnest as there’s no way rb buys what he has or loans the company money if he doesn’t have a damn good chance of succeeding.

My point re buying/adding is purely that there are many said to me they will add when news lands but I just don’t see them being able to in the open market. The last chance we saw decent volume it went from 12-24p in no time. So for me this is all about when not if.
Anyway we all want the same end goal here.

Far from it lost my shirt on Opti but a pal is still in and been ramping it for weeks.

I jumped in for a few after the tw article.
Cashed out a bit early too.

Hopefully INSG can replicate the phoenix like move with the newsflow.

The Battersea dogs home?

I bought heavily into Opti when they first launched at 8/9p but haven't been in since I sold the last of those in the 80's. It seems like a long time ago.

There’s a few nibbling but there are several larger holders just waiting for news to jump in again. Problem I see is it’s too illiquid to guarantee getting any reasonable amount in the market.

I prefer adding when it’s quiet.

Re Opti - lost a fortune on it a few years back but was persuaded to take a chunk a few weeks ago. Guess where the proceeds will go.

Often forgotten in the lack of excitement are the hundreds of thousands of shares RB bought at market prices post float, but before he joined the board, that were not directly RNS'd.

Steady nibbling today, and not much joy for the guy reputedly wanting a second 100k, but it's the much maligned OPTI I suspect that is providing a role model for soon to be Post CarVal INSG in terms of share price movement at the moment, up 200%+ from recent lows.
