SEV,

I have no doubt that it will and have backed my view again this morning with cash.

Tremendous growth taking place and this is a very cash generative business , particularly through the Partnership Housing arm. I CAN see INL being taken out in the future but at a good multiple to the current market cap.

I am really surprised that investors are selling out and consequently the price is being marked down.

'Housebuilder Inland Homes has reported a "period of major progress" with its land bank rising to its largest ever level.

Inland Homes turned over £147.9m in the 15 months to 30 September 2019. In the previous financial period – the year to 30 June 2018 – revenues were £147.4m.

Pre-tax profit for 2019 hit the £25m-mark.

Chief executive Stephen Wicks said: "This has been a period of major progress, with strong momentum across the group.

"We now have our largest ever land bank, controlling more plots with planning permission than at any other time, as well as seeing a continued expansion in the number of homes and partnership homes we are building."

Total land holding at the period-end was 7,796 plots, up from 6,870 at the end of its 2018 financial year.'

Ironic really on the day Brexit goes ahead. Onwards and upwards. I think the share price will move towards £1.00 in the next few weeks.

Just added significantly.
I see a strong bounce coming once the dust settles.

Delay reason was obvious - hoping the housebuilders boom would get them to the 100p for the share bonuses to kick in.
It didn't.
So now I suspect that the EPRA has been done VERY conservatively so they can now issue a load of new management incentives for the next leg. Not that they don't deserve a massive reward for building a massive and growing business.

Clever & slightly underhand soft shoe shuffle by the Company. By shifting the Final dividend and amalgamating it with the Interim, they have saved money and more importantly bought some time to find the cash through land disposals. I now think this was the reason for the delay as they looked at options.Being successful in this business requires cash, and I suspect through their success, they are hitting their borrowing buffers. I believe they are very vulnerable to a lowball takeover before the dividend payment date unless they can rebuild their cash pile through some significant land disposals.spud

Pls go here to talk about HL

HL has an overly complex accounting system which is why I have taken business away from them. Other brokers just have one account for capital and income which is much easier to use.

No idea what dividend delay you guys are talking about. My HL dividends are always received on time into my income account. HL automatically transfer it to my capital account around the 10th of the month but if I want to use it beforehand I simply ask for money in my income acount to be moved into the capital account immediately. You can do this on line.

There is no “delay” in receiving payment. The money is in your account. It’s just not available to spend until it is moved into the capital account.

Looks like a big year of profit coming as they have a huge construction pipeline to deliver and will probably also sell more plots to bring the debt down. Combined we should see a massive profit uplift even compared to a 15 month period.

Getting Investors on board for specific new projects should also drive further growth without the debt.

spot,

you can alter your divi payment preferences with HL.
I'm with them and always receive my divi's on the payment date. Just give them a call.

Happy with the progress being made and a solid hold for me. Only negative is debt is relatively high, but management will be addressing this. Delay in the dividend not a massive issue given the debt.

The last dividend was paid on 3rd July so almost a year between that and the one declared today.

Also as an added annoyance for those of us with HL - and I fully accept this is nothing to do with INL but it's no less annoying for that - this payment in June will just miss their June distribution date and won't get paid out until mid-July a full year after the last one.

Given the debt levels doesn't worry me one iota

It's the medium term picture that matters
