Indeed. I personally can't understand or comprehend the lack of Institutional interest in this Company. I have no doubt that we'll see a significant earnings increase together with a dividend uplift. I'm also convinced that by the end of the week we'll be back down testing 60p support. I'm also convinced that a takeover is the only way in which it can reflect its true value...spud

The results are out 1 week today. I'm expecting a steady share price rise in anticipation of a strong set of numbers.

Cerrito

I imagine those shares might find their way en-bloc into the hands of funds, if he wants to sell.

It may be that although prospects here look good, it might be being held back a bit by the slightly less confident housing market reports / demand / labour shortages etc.

In terms of the share price perhaps more interesting is what he does with his 4.2m shares

I am pretty relaxed on this provided that he focuses on Wilton Park and Cheshunt.
I think I will be happier with three non execs and two execs rather than the other way round as it is now.
Seems natural for someone like him to go and try to do his own thing and I guess he thought that if he does not do it now he never will.

Makes one wonder whether there has been a minor falling out over the succession planning, especially as the company is now only looking for a "non-executive" replacement at Board level.

Yes, annoying that - I assumed he was CEO elect when Stephen Wicks retired.

Slightly concerning RNS just out regarding Paul Brett leaving (albeit in a controlled manner):

Board and Management Change

Inland Homes plc (AIM: INL), the leading brownfield regeneration specialist and housebuilder, announces that Paul Brett, the Group Land Director and a founding shareholder of Inland Homes, has decided to leave the Company to pursue his own interests.

He will step down from the Board with effect from 16 April 2018 but remain as a consultant to the Company, supporting, in particular, the ongoing planning application processes at its significant development opportunities at Wilton Park in Beaconsfield and Cheshunt Lakeside in Hertfordshire. Mr Brett's other responsibilities will be assumed by the current Senior Land Manager, Des Wicks, who has over 10 years' experience within the Group, in the newly created role outside the PLC Board of Director of Land.

In addition a search is underway to increase Non-Executive representation on the Board and further announcements will be made in due course.

Stephen Wicks, Chief Executive, commented:

"Paul has been influential in positioning Inland Homes as one of the South East's leading brownfield regeneration specialists and he leaves the business in an extremely healthy position, with a substantial land bank and a number of exciting development opportunities.

"On a personal level, it's been a pleasure to work alongside Paul for over 20 years and it has been a source of pride and admiration for me to see him become one of the most skilled and respected Land Directors in the industry. We wish him every success in his future endeavours."

APPROVAL FOR CITY CENTRE WHARF APARTMENT SCHEME

A plan to construct 87 apartments in buildings up to ten-storey high at Sherborne Wharf in Birmingham city centre has been approved.

Applicant Inland Homes has been granted permission by Birmingham City Council for the development in Sherborne Street which would include the demolition of the existing buildings, except for Psonex House, and the erection of two properties between three and ten storeys.

The site was formerly used in connection with the canal, including storage of goods and materials and the repair and maintenance of boats.
