Interesting article by Phil Oakley, whilst the article covers Redrow, you can read across for the majority of house builders.

Any parties interest will be piqued once consent has been granted, I would suggest.

£350m GDV on Wilton Park I see. Suggests average house prices £1m a pop!
Which is not unusual for Beaconsfield. Can't wait to see the planning application - had a butchers but not up yet.

Inland Homes submit plans for more than 300 homes on former MOD site, Wilton Park, in Beaconsfield

Developers who own a former MOD site in Beaconsfield have submitted a planning application to build more than 300 homes after two years of detailed consultation.

Work at Wilton Park will see Inland Homes demolish 40 houses - which were previously used as service family accommodation for MOD employees - to build a section of the planned new relief road.

As well as 304 new homes, the application hopes to deliver parkland, sports pitches and community facilities for the town.

Detailed planning applications are expected to be submitted to South Bucks District Council for each phase of the development.

Mark Gilpin, planning director for Inland Homes, said: “We are delighted to be submitting our planning application for Wilton Park.

"This is a hugely complex site with many challenges, not the least of which is the delivery of a new road which involves the demolition of 40 existing houses and the relocation of the Air Training Cadets.

“The application marks a hugely significant milestone for what will be one of the UK’s most unique and special developments when completed.

"Wilton Park will be a place that Beaconsfield is proud of and one that will provide a place for existing and new residents to enjoy for generations."
